Unlike Albania Serbia has an economy that is not based on raising goats and donkeys. We do have craft that flies in the sky and ships do not fall off the edge of the world. Time to catch up with the rest of the world.

What is wrong with the attitude of the people here? Whenever there is any kind of investment from any country everyone has to see some problem in it. They cry about good old Yugoslavia days all the time, are lazy and drink coffee all day in cafes. I have been living here for the last 5 years and I still cannot understand why can't people understand the fact that for any kind of development there has to be FDI in Serbia. Hope that someone understands that just wear cheap fake Chinese and Italian clothes do not make you rich you have to work your a** off to be a rich and prosperous nation.

This is not a bad idea at all. Countries need investment to drive their economies and Serbia is no exception. In fact it needs it badly if they are going to increases their living standards. The UAE will bring equipment; it will employ locals and bring management skills from outside that will benefit Serbia greatly.
Remember the UAE can’t pick up the land and take it back to their country. This what Belgrade needs.

That is not amusing Croatia owns the agriculture production in Serbia through its company Agricor. It has invested 500 million in a decade and has 7000 employees their. Also Agricor this year investing over 100 million in Serbia. What dose the UAE know about agriculture a desert country is Serbia trying too shyster their money probably nothing new their.

Wow all of Serbia’s productive lands. I can see how Croats once ruled Poland and all the way to and including most of the Ukraine.
How do you do this? Only 4.2 millions of people and you control all that you see.
I no understand why no Croatian firm no employ 7000 Croats and has to go to Serbia. Maybe Agricor employ more Croats and Croatian unemployment rate go down from 25%.
Another Croat whose eyes are bigger than his stomach.

Wow 9000 ha and a port, why not to sell the whole Serbia to the Arabs? They would invest in the infrastructure and more. If Serbia is not able to sell its agricultural products, it should make place for more talented people
