Laugh him off all you want, but his observations mirror the reality on the ground a lot more than those of his political rivals. Where are the Serbian military and police to be found in Kosovo? What Serb political figures run Pristina?

He is right: the only way Serbs could ever hope to regain sovereignty over Kosovo would be to go back to war. So, when and how?

That Serbian candle burned out long ago in Kosovo. And you'll remember what happened when you tried using matches to re-light it recently.

Now the government is promising to prosecute and cut the pay of Serbians living in Kosovo who have been receiving a second salary from Prishtina. That should be enough to help all Serbs decide just how much Serbia is interested in Serbians, and how much it's interested in real estate.

I like this guy, he is so real and he expresses the truth..I can here some of you saying resulution 1244. refer to his comments and that's it.

Didn't he tell Serbia too make the make believe "Srpska" entity as a special imaginary neighbour friend and too drop Kosovo. Its getting confusing with all of Serbia's imaginary friends hummm.

Peggy, well he's swayed with the wind so many times its hard to know what he believes. But he is one of the few remaining survivors of the miserable 90's period, who was on an equal level with Milosevic, Tudjman etc. As you probably remember many thought he would succeed Milosevic.

But lets not forget something else, although history appeared to pass him by post 2000, it was Velimir Ilic who brought him into government and former Prime Minister Kostunica that appointed him as Foreign Minister from 2004-2007. DS got rid of him and appointed Jeremic in the following government.

Had he not been in power post 2000, less attention would be paid to him.

So as the goepolitical situation chances, so will the reality on the ground. As far as I can see, time is on our side. Cheers my friends!

And unemployment is decreasing too.

The increases may only be small, but at least it isn't decreasing. And some growth is better than none.

The north of KiM is integrated into the rest of Serbia. The enclaves also have Serbian infrastructure but not to the same extent as the north. Recently an Albanian politician mentioned the north was lost to Pristina. It is not as black and white as some would like us to believe.

That Serbian candle burned out long ago in Kosovo. And you'll remember what happened when you tried using matches to re-light it recently.

Now the government is promising to prosecute and cut the pay of Serbians living in Kosovo who have been receiving a second salary from Prishtina. That should be enough to help all Serbs decide just how much Serbia is interested in Serbians, and how much it's interested in real estate.

And unemployment is decreasing too.

The increases may only be small, but at least it isn't decreasing. And some growth is better than none.

You have a go at Serbian politics but I'm right about what's happening in your country and it isn't good. As long as your politicians bankers and corporates are fiddling you people it will never get better longterm. BTW I have been to Wales, Scotland and both North and Southern Ireland and the English are not very well liked from my experience. Everything I said about your country is true and it's diabolical the way the people are treated, if that happened in Serbia we would never hear the end of it from you lot, you have been lied to by your governments past and present but we don't care about that, we do care about what goes on here in our own back yard. Kosovo is as much a part of Serbia as Yorkshire, Derbyshire etc is to England and when your ethnic bretheren from Asia start to demand seperartion and Islamic law for certain parts of your country then we'll see what you have to say. I agree with what you're saying. The "English" are not always well received, but us Northerners are better received and get along, they quite like us and we are treated similar to them as we're also looked down upon by the middle class elitists in South East England.

Peggy, well he's swayed with the wind so many times its hard to know what he believes. But he is one of the few remaining survivors of the miserable 90's period, who was on an equal level with Milosevic, Tudjman etc. As you probably remember many thought he would succeed Milosevic.

But lets not forget something else, although history appeared to pass him by post 2000, it was Velimir Ilic who brought him into government and former Prime Minister Kostunica that appointed him as Foreign Minister from 2004-2007. DS got rid of him and appointed Jeremic in the following government.

Had he not been in power post 2000, less attention would be paid to him.
