That's because you are unbearable as a people. Like the plague, killing and destroying everything in its path.

Quote, "Three groups of citizens were included in the poll – residents of Vojvodina, central Serbia, and Belgrade." Residents of Southern areas appear not to be included. May I ask why ?
Quote. "The respondents see Russia, Germany, China, Japan and Italy as the greatest friends of Serbia". Interesting that Greece, traditional ally and staunch supporter of fellow Orthodox Serbia, is not included. I question and respectfully reserve acceptance of such poll as representative of Serbian youth opinion, even after taking into consideration the stated sample population demographic location. I would much prefer reference to specific, balanced question and answer given, on the basis of region by region, of all Serbia.

"With the majority Albanian population in Kosova finally enjoying the taste of democracy & freedom for the last 13 years, Serbia wouldn't have a chance at reoccupying Kosova! "
(Rocky, 17 October 2012 17:18)

I don't know if there's anything to 'enjoy' in the economic black hole called Kosovo, with an exorbitant unemployment rate especially amongst the young people, with a big percentage of the people living below poverty standards of €1/day, with a clique of people who play politicians, who fake elections to stay in power, who are corrupt to the bone only care for their own pockets and the wealth of their friends from the drug mafia, who benefit from the unstable situation and who don't care at all for the country and some progress for ordinary citizens

Albanians were a majority even during serbian "occupation" of Kosovo, no?
Before the war broke out there were 90 percent albanians in Kosovo and 10 percent serbs, give or take. Imagine that it only took 1 serb to controll 9 albanians, or in other words 200.000 serbs to have 1,800,000 albs kneel. You can take that to the bank.
(MikeC, 17 October 2012 18:44)

MikeC, your absolutely right, Serbia did brutally enforce its dictatorial apartheid ways upon the Albanian majority population of Kosova! With a iron fist! But don't forget mike, we the population of Kosova were, always a dagger in Serbia's side, every time Serbia pressed harder, we penetrated a little deeper! And also we albos, had no weaponry ( until 1997-1998, with the collapse of the albanian government in albania) whatsoever, zilch! Maybe a few hunting shotguns & rifles. On the other hand, Serbia had over 45 years, produced & acquired a mass arsenal of some pretty darn good weaponry, with the mass majority of it, stored in arms depots thruout Serbia, no denying that either! All of these facts although, should tell u something, we Albanians don't give a flying monkeys a.. What kind of weaponry our enemies have! When our freedom is at play, it may take a while but we will gain our freedom! We waited out the Turks for some 500 years & we waited out the Serbs for 1200 years! We might not been been able to inflict, one single blow that was fatal, but we did always succeed in bleeding our enemies dry!

Commenting on the fact that the biggest number of Euro-skeptics could be found among the youth, she said that the phenomenon was the result of the fact that the young generations had spent most of their lives in the post-transition Serbia, that they "did not remember the 1990s", and at the same time "failed to see a clear perspective and a better future in the EU".

Sad to see that the youth seems to have already resigned. I cannot believe that especially the young people believe life in Serbia of nowadays is a good one.

“However, although Russia fared better when compared to NATO, according to the citizens’ answers, the Serbian citizens predominantly want military neutrality, 44 percent,” he concluded.

This might be a result of the fact that people in YU, unlike the people in the neighboring states of the former Warsaw pact, didn't have the chance to 'enjoy' the 'experience' to be under Russian influence for dozens of years and get their countries ruined.

Just in case, for those who are unaware of the how the EU stacks up against the likes of Russia and China, have a look at the Debt to GDP ratio which is an indicator of the financial "health" of a country. Once you go over 100%, you cant repay the debt from your gross domestic product..The USA tipped over the 100% mark a little while ago.
Who would you rather trade with - a bankrupt or an emerging power?
Greece 161%
Italy 121%
Portugal 112%
Ireland 121%
Belgium 99.7%
United Kingdom 86.3%
France 86.7%
Germany 80.0%
Hungary 76.6% etc etc
AND..
China 16%
Russia 8.8%
Serbia is choosing its freinds carefully during this critical time in both the economic and the military sense. The people of Serbia are not so naive to be sucked into the Euro bankruptcy hole.

my dear readers, do you notice how it is solely our k-albanian friends writing in a way of pro-european frenzy here?

even Luigi has put it straight and wrote something my italian friends are confirming to me.

the bottom-line is: the LDP-traitors are losing ground. and that is of course very good for a brighter future.

okay, for our dear k-albanian friends, that´s not really good, but they are not being asked anyway.

they will have a simple choice when the time has come. do you wanna stay while accepting the inevitable or do you wanna go?

I think most K-albanians will come to reason and chose the first option, and some, perhaps even some of our k-albanian friends in here will have to move - perhaps the "one and only global superpower" will take them! ...you know the US are always keen on cheap labour...

Nobody in Switzerland or Sweden would discuss NATO for its country. Serbia is world-champion to raise non-existing questions/problems. If you see B92 etc you will find that the Serbian leaders are the whole day involved in Kosovo-EU-issues. But how many hours you will find them involved in the daily problems of the Serb economy or the social problems? So, Serbia will follow like in the past all smallest demands from foreign powers. In Western country the mdeia are ignoring in principle all statements coming from Serbia or other such important countries. Serbia should send some students to the West to study how to make policy and how to be as politicians present in the public. But the Serbs prefer to go shopping abroad or to ask for asylum. The Serbs are not understanding the Western world. And so one of Germny´s leading journalists wrote about wars ouside Europa: and he mentioned Serbia and Irak. Serbia is playing in this category.

Clearly realizing the country would then be on its own, with no constant prodding from foreigners to make the changes most Serbians recognize have to be made, could release a burst of determination and self-confidence that would allow it to finally start moving ahead. How much energy is wasted today trying to "manage" the process of EU-integration, desperately bargaining for each baby-step forward toward a goal that the majority of the population isn't sure it even wants?

That is still more than the number of people in the EU that trust the EU. According to recent data, only 30% of EU citizens trust the EU.

Young people have a very strong sense of justice. They recognize the double standards imposed by Europe to Serbia. Young people are especially irritated. For all of that the majority young Serbs are against Serbia joining the EU.

I would much prefer reference to specific, balanced question and answer given, on the basis of region by region, of all Serbia.

my dear readers, do you notice how it is solely our k-albanian friends writing in a way of pro-european frenzy here?

even Luigi has put it straight and wrote something my italian friends are confirming to me.

the bottom-line is: the LDP-traitors are losing ground. and that is of course very good for a brighter future.

okay, for our dear k-albanian friends, that´s not really good, but they are not being asked anyway.

they will have a simple choice when the time has come. do you wanna stay while accepting the inevitable or do you wanna go?

I think most K-albanians will come to reason and chose the first option, and some, perhaps even some of our k-albanian friends in here will have to move - perhaps the "one and only global superpower" will take them! ...you know the US are always keen on cheap labour...

"With the majority Albanian population in Kosova finally enjoying the taste of democracy & freedom for the last 13 years, Serbia wouldn't have a chance at reoccupying Kosova! "

That's because you are unbearable as a people. Like the plague, killing and destroying everything in its path.
