Best thing is to simply ignore any discussion about Kosovo. The issue is settled and will remain as is. Serbia does not recognize the UDI and most of EU does. South of the Ibar will be run by Pristina and the north will be managed by Serbia. It’s a done deal. At this point I would propose we table any discussion regarding those points since neither Prisitina nor Belgrade will change its opinion on that. If that means EU will not start accession talks, so be it. Not what Serbia prefers of course, but nothing Serbia can do about it. Regardless of the EU, Serbia needs drastic reforms in many key areas, and that is want the politicians need to focus on at this point. Enough already about borders. Today they don’t mean anything anyway.

So if you agree its pointless, then why are your occupational representatives at the negotiating table? Or better yet, if its pointless then why is Serbia pressured daily by EUrocrats to sit down with members of the KLA.

To discuss technical issues such as land registries, documents on births, deaths and marriages, freedom of movement, University Degrees, Trade, Customs, Energy, Telecommunications ect. Then how to deal with the disputed territory of Northern Kosovo which both countries claim as their own. But don't worry, Northern Ireland was subject to a territorial dispute between Ireland and the UK until 1998; however the EEC/ EU found a way of admitting both Ireland and the UK as members in 1973 without focussing on disputed Northern Ireland. I'm sure the EU will be able to find a way of admitting both Kosovo and Serbia into the EU as member states without focussing on disputed Northern Kosovo.

God help us if Dinkic is supposed to be the 'voice of common sense' in this government. But yes, I think he has spotted a currently vacant position of quietly slapping down Dacic and Nikolic, whilst appearing to be actually getting on with his job.

Great to see all the actors realising their roles...

He did not say never. What he said is: The only way Kosovo can be part of Serbia is if aliens would come to earth and spoke Serbian, then maybe..

I have said this myself, put KiM on the back burner, and let it simmer for a few years, or longer. The land is not going anywhere. Serbia can then concentrate on the EU, and other nations around the world. There is that old saying, if you can't beat them, join them. And then beat them.

I dont like him too much, but he is more clever as Dacic and Nikolic together. Its useless, now to discuss the Ksosovo-status. Serbia should forget it for at least 20 years and see it again when (???) the door to the EU is open for Serbia one day.

Pointless because Kosovo is a full fledged parliamentary-democracy with its own laws, institutions, and government.

I agree it is pointless though to make this big of a deal about Kosovo i Methohija just because the EU needs something to do to put off Serbia's accession since Serbia arrested all the Hague indictees (despite not the fact that Hashish wasn't even indicted).

I agree with Dinkic's words especially inviting any businessman who wants to invest in Serbia. You can do that by lowering taxes for businesses to invest in the sectors of economy that can thrive off foreign investments.

But Dinkic has controlled the finances and economy of our country since October 5th 2000. And now he's trying to lead Serbia out of the mess he created?

Its a bit like accepting medicine from what poisoned you.

You say tomato I say tomeito. Sooner or later chicken always goes to rooster.
I wonder what do you think will happen in the near future, Kosovo be part of Serbia again?
The only way Kosovo can be part of Serbia is if aliens would come to earth and spoke Serbian, then maybe..
