Now I understand the reason of your inflation, you are not interested on your economy.
P.S. If they are found guilty this is a good news for Albania.Criminal is criminal no matter of what ethnicity.

Are you aware that Kosova is still run by EULEX? so if these mafia clans are intermingling with the authorities, then those authorities are those Europeans who can veto any decision the K. Parliament makes

The problem is not the Albanian Albanians, but your 'brothers' from Kosovo. They worked hard on their 'country' becoming Europe's main drug hub. And yes, you read often about drug dealers being arrested in Serbia. But you should see it as a good sign. In Kosovo, the drug mafia clans interact with politics/KPS, and so they can do their business without being arrested. That's the problem, and that's one of the reasons why Kosovo is often refrerred to as a 'mafia state'. And yes, the hooligans/national extremists/fascists are a huge problem in Belgrade and whole of Serbia. Some people even say they enjoy the same support from the (new) Serbian government like the mafia clans get from Kosovo government.

Fact is that all people deal with drugs in one way or another. However, albanians are especially known for dealing drugs since a majority of drugs that reach the europen market come through Kosovo and Albania. One reason albanians are more prone to deal with drugs is because they live in more secluded societies and where the poverty level is extremly high. One of few options to succeed and make money is to join one of many drug cartels run by albanians all over Europe.

First of all when I read all the comments I had noticed in one of the comments someone remarking about the mafia which reminds me that some people claim (on some internet article) that the Albanian mafia is the most or one of the most volatile mafia gang where they are said to be hypersensitive and will therefore react violently to any insult hurled against them ,in fact, someone made statements about when it comes to "doing business" with the mafia that that individual(s) would prefer to "do business" with Russian mafia or some other mafia groups but NOT the Albanian mafia all because some person(s) intensely fears the Albanian mafia so it makes me wonder does the Albanian mafia have any non-Albanians for an "ally"? Is it possible that one's only hope in arousing the Albanian mafia's gentle or amiable "side" is to make pro-Albanian statements?

I thought of something else which was this morning when I viewed live streaming local FOX news from Orlando,Florida,USA that somewhere in the state of California some neighbor posted a sign to warn speedy motorists that if they accidentally run over his or her kid that the parent might shoot the driver so therefore why do I get this nagging feeling that someone else won't be surprised if an Albanian parent(s) especially if it's a babbi (Albanian word for daddy) will post a warning saying "Warning! Are you aware that Kosova is still run by EULEX? so if these mafia clans are intermingling with the authorities, then those authorities are those Europeans who can veto any decision the K. Parliament makes

Just Albanians being Albanians. What about the 80 year old guy who beheaded his 18 year old pregnant girlfriend when she told him she was going to University. What a bunch.

France and other Nato countries played on US side during the conflict in Kosovo and are now receiving their with their thirty pieces of silver from the criminal drug and kidnappining Albanian gangs they tied to LIBERATE.

US didn't care about Albanian drug or kidnapping gangs in Europe.Their ultimate goal was to create a protectorate in the Balkans ruled by Hashim 'Mengele' Thaci and other chief organ -surgeon’s mates a kind of democracy, envisioned only by US neocons .

You would have to arrest half the population of Albania and Albanian part of Kosovo, to make a dent in the European narcotics trade. This is a meaningful arrest, though, it will stop some flow of money to Pristina. Good work, French and German police.

Why so many comments?

Serbs just love to hear such storys about Albanians. If the story was about serb or for example spanish drugdealers nobody would write comments about it.

But hey Serbia is not an heaven in earth. There are serb mafia and criminals but they are weaker than Albanian ones.

Anyway serbs love bad storys about Albanians because they lost The war against Albanians and lost Kosova. They cannot do anything against Albanians so they love hearing bad things about them.

If anyone accidentally or carelessly runs over my (or our) child or children I(or we) as the parent(s) may shoot you"!

Nikolle, another typical response by you. When there is nothing to say, or egg on your face, attack the other side. Because there are drug gangs in most countries, does that diminish the size and brutality of Albanian drug mafias? As opposed to being happy that drug dealers are being caught, you make a petty statement about Serbs.

Comm. Parrisson

pre 11 godina

Not surprising, knowing that the micro-pseudo state of Kosovo, tolerated by negligence of the current government, achieved to become Europe's main drug hub. So it's only natural that an Albanian drug trafficking network spread over whole Europe exists.

Conclusion: Bad news for Kosovo's economy :)

Once, an (angry) serbian friend of mine told me that the croatian media are used to publish any news that could put in bad light the serbs, even if the news didn't affect at all Croatia. I see the same goes with the serbian media. Every country has its south. [How can you really be so naive and discuss so long on this banal issue?]

I understand the serbain feelings towards albania, but this news is not the case to vommit towards us. I do work hard to earn my living, as probably the most of my countryman or serbian people too. Crime? Is happens only in albania??? You will say that we are the "world champions" in drug dealing or traffic of organs, but Serbia is not better. I have read lots of case of drug dealers arrested in B92, in your country or serbian in exile. Now, Serbia is a mayor arms exporter, bcs of the inheritance of a very portion of large army from yougoslavia and i will not touch the crimes during balkan wars. I will only say, that walking in belgrade, during my three time visit there, i feelt unsafe, specially in some parts populated by crvena zvezda houligans, just the ones like "Bogdanov" who burned our flag in Italy-Serbia match, if you recall. In Ada lake, once i had to say i am finnish, the same during an iron maiden concert, in Belgrade 2009. In Tirana, serbian people walk safe and they are welcome, and i do have serbian friend. So continue cursing and accusing Albania, but just know that your accusations are not racional. Next, the albanians will coment here when the police will arrest some serbian drug dealers and the hate will continue... Crime, in Balkans, is a main problem, that albania alone, can not resolve. All the countries in this pennisula have to tackle this problem....

Tiranaboy, this is the first time I have heard that anyone felt unsafe in Belgrade. That simply is just not the case. It is one of Europe's safest cities, even for visiting Albanians. And where exactly are these "hooligan neighborhoods"? I know BG pretty much like the back of my hand, and I do not know these Bogdanov Crvena Zvezda hoods. Amazing how quickly you came upon them. TBoy, you're trying to paint BG black a bit, aren't you? Better for you to concentrate on pointing out Albanian drug mafia activity, than try and lie about BG. Or maybe, you are afraid?

I don't want to picture anything, but i have been in situation, in BG, where people asked me from where i came from, young people of 20-30 years, drunk and with a "hooligan" looking, and i not sure if they will be as friendly as you say if i theu knew i was albanian. This happened in Zemun, near Belgrade, and i assure you that i am not here to lie. Pls, don't misunderstand me, i am not saying that BG is full of hooligans or evil people. I am saying just the opposite, but as a journalist and visited, i am aware of a lot of things your are amaized they came as quickly in my mind, as the killing of a french turist in BG center by Partisan hooligans, the riots during Crvena-Partizan, the high number of thefts, unemployent, etc etc etc...

So the Germans and the French have only just now found out that pretty much all of the drug dealing in Europe is in the hands of Kosovar Albanians? How did they think that Kosovo and Albania survive so far with absolutely no economic activity in those lands? Anyway it serves them right since they and their american buddies are responsible for the creation of this drug proctectorate aka Kosova.

42 arrested means that one Albanian family is temporarily out of business. In Italy alone you would have to arrest 42k and deport them back to Albania and Kosovo if you want to reduce crime. How many of these guys used Serbian passports to get to the EU?

Well, these arrested appear to be Albanians, but those that remain at large and belong to this ring might be Serbs!
