Serbia does have good agricultural potential and sufficient raw materials availability to do well economically. However, Serbia is crippled by an aging population and excessive nationalism. If Serbia would actually focus less on national pride and more on building something worth being proud of, they would be far ahead.

Jelko is absolutely correct no partition of Serbia, no change in borders, which means NO independence for k*Albanians as well as no pathway to unify with Albania (which results in war) or to join the EU. So accept less than independence and more than autonomy with international supervision of reconciliation of kosova*Albanian and Serb Kosovo & Metohia cantons, entities, regions, districts, and counties whatever you want to call them. That’s the only pathway to the EU. If this option is not agreeable, than partition cannot be excluded regardless of what Jelko the salad tosser says.
