I am not disputing that the unemployment figures may be wrong, but I do dispute that they are any where close to sj's numbers or his way of calculating them. The truth is there is no real way to get an accurate number as everyone unemployed do not register for unemployment or any other system so it is an educated guess.
But no one even in the US are claiming that times are not bad. but Americans are doing better than most of the world. Even with the recession the average American lives much better than the average Russian or Chinese. Just because you can find an article somewhere that says something does not mean it is accurate or even based on facts. But if it makes you happier to think that the US is under water and drowning have at it, it will not make any difference to Americans.
As far as "my friend" Comm. Parrisson, as you call him. I don't think you will see us agreeing on very much else. I do respect his opinion as I think he is sincere, but I don't agree with it very often, but apparently he sees through sj's charade.

The National Bank of Serbia operates under the control of the Bank of International Settlements in Switzerland, just like other central banks.

The BIS is the central banks' central bank. It sets the rules for international control over money. The NBS is not allowed to create Dinars and give them to the Serbian government interest free. Instead, it exists to guarantee the operations of private banks which can create money from nothing and lend it to the Serbian government and people at interest.

The NBS should be independent of the BIS and the world's super-rich. The NBS should exist for the benefit of Serbia.

Unemployment and under-employment are the main problems in Serbia today. What Serbia needs is a massive inflow of money to kick-start the economy. The NBS could provide this; but first it must become a truely national organisation and not just the tool of the international elite - the 1 per cent.
