I've said it before and I'll say it again, it is time for the southern areas of albanians to be placed under martial law, maintained either by MUP forces or even the army. This will clamp down on any terrorist activities in the Bujanovac or Presevo regions, while the 'borders' ought to be constantly patrolled, with soldiers and military vehicles on the ground and attack helicopters in the air, in future any act like this one could be met with immediate retaliation and neutralizing of the terrorists.

I just can't understand why the Albanians in Kosovo didn't want to live under Serbian rule...???

@ Goran. Can you prove that any of that happened? Or is that Milosevic era media and propaganda you're still believing? Killing soldiers and armed militarised police isn't murder in the same sense when it comes to war. It is war, enemy forces will be targets.

I did see an episode of Law and Order SUV which portrayed had a Serb war criminal living in the US under the identity of an Albanian he had killed in Kosovo. Didn't think much of it at the time but then that would explain the missing Serbs that are unaccounted for.

And what are you going to do about it, dear? I know that according to the CE of the B92 forums sj the USA has collapsed and its military can be easily beaten by any country in the world (except Albania), but be careful with the Turkish military (as least, as long as sj has not declared it collapsed, as well).

My point was to ask if death threats have been received by the film people cause it shines a light on the human trafficing activities of the Albanian and Turkish people who have a monopoly on this horrendous criminal activity according to the German intelligence reports.

When ethnic Albanians shoot at police they're considered to be "terrorists", when ethnic-Serbs shoot and kill police they're conisidered to be romantic freedom fighters.

And I thought Western media was supposed to be bad.
(Ian, UK, 8 October 2012 10:42)

When ethnic albanians start a separatist war and rape, torture, kidnap and remove the organs of civilians; not to mention murder police and soldiers, they are considered to be romantic freedom fighters but when the Serbians fight back they are considered monsters.

And I thought Western Media was meant to be non-biased?

Says the one who considers local Serbs in northern Kosovo who resist KFOR encroachment legitimate targets for a crackdown. Don't worry Ian, your romantic freedom fighting tree thieves firing semi automatic weapons across what they consider a "border" and what if it were Turkey you'd support a full NATO-led retaliation got away unharmed :)
(Balkan Anthropologist, 8 October 2012 16:04)

No I think you're right, timber thievery just defines terrorism for me. I don't know about you, but whenever I hear the word "terrorism", I automatically think of a bloke stealing a tree; after all that is what terrorism is.

But on a serious note, organised crime (different from terrorism) shouldn't go unpunished and I condemn it.

And no I don't support a "full NATO-led retaliation", but I do believe an intervention would be the humane thing to do; the lesser of two evils so to speak. A bloody war is inevitable now in Syria. Obviously I don't want a war. But I think a short quick war with minimal civilian deaths is far better than a long dragged on bloody war which it is soon going to become. Lets say after a few years of war in Syria, and for arguments sake Assad and co win, the bloodshed will end then? Of course not. There'd be a massive backlash from Assad. No one would go unpunished for "betraying" their dear leader. A quick interventionist war is definitely the lesser of two evils and the more humane of the two and Turkey has the right to take the lead here as it has been attacked.

Has everybody seen the movie "Taken 2" it was number at the box office in the US this past weekend. Does anybody know if death threats have been issued in Albania or Turkey against the French director or the British actor Liam Neeson?Albanians and Turks must be really upset that their activities are being highlighted in this manner.
(luciano, 8 October 2012 18:35)

We've seen Taken 1 a few years ago. Just so you know. But then again we've seen Behind Enemy lines and that movie with Nicole Kidman chasing a Serb terrorist in NYC who planed on setting of a bomb. So what's your point.

I would generally think in terms of terrorism as being generally arbitrarily directed against the general population whereas this is an armed attack on a police post.

As such I would say that this is part of an ethnic war that has been conducted against Serbia for a large number of years (from before the time of Milosevic) in support of an ethnic take over of Serbian territory.

Let's not get too heated about the word "terrorist". It is being devalued as a concept by being part of the political rhetoric with each side throwing the word at the other.

Choose words carefully. These attacks are not terrorism - they are warfare.

In Kosovo, that's like a proof: If it would have been Serbs, KPS would have arrested some persons very very quickly. If nobody is ever caught, then it was a crime committed by Albanians :)
