I believe you meant to type "Nato Secures the Insecure", But could you please give me one example of that where the insecurity wasnt created by Nato itself? In Kosovo? Their bombing caused almost a million people to flee the province? In Libya? Before it was a small scale, unsupported rebellion, then Nato got involved and we were left with a country in ruins & 40,000 dead? In Afghanistan? The Taliban may have been heavy handed with their punishments, but now look at the place now Nato have gone in, Hundreds of thousands are dead? Was it really worth it? Nato's sole purpose was to form a united front against the Soviet Union should another great European war have started, but the Soviet Union no longer exists, Nato has outlived its purpose for which it was created & is now little more then an instrument of western neo-imperialism

Simple answer, it still exists because the military industrial complex in the US of A controls the congress and the Senate, their lobbyists have bought all the immoral politicians they can, and they managed to convince them that 'war is good'. War is good indeed if you are a shareholder of Lockheed Martin, Northrupp Grumman, Raytheon....and any other military contractor. These psychopaths have managed to buy both Republicans and Democrats, and turn them all into war mongers.
