Tadić on October 5: Serbia has changed for better

After October 5, 2000, Serbia and its society made progress, opposition DS party leader and former Serbian president for two terms Boris Tadić stated on Friday.

From October the fifth, Serbia hasn't changed for better. People had high expectations that were dashed last 12 years. A million people lost their jobs, the national debt had risen to 60%. The Serbian economy is on its knees. I do not see that this is better. For all these reasons the Democrats lost the elections of May and are now in the opposition. Boris Tadic leader of the Democratic Party lost the presidential election too.

Milosevic was probably one of the worst leaders of Serbia. But Tadic was definitely number two if not number one. One thing I can say about Milosevic, he didn’t bend over for his enemies.
