It seems any minor politician who wants media coverage in Germany does so by making demands on Serbia; Serbia doesn't need the EU.

Isn't that the goal of every politician in the world to see their name in the Serbian press? I mean that IS the only place it is considered news, and only because Serbs insist on beating a dead horse to death.

Nobody in Germany knows an "official" with name Kirchbaum....There 600 "officials" like him in the parliamnet and each is speaking for himself during making a little journey. It is the great mistake of the Serbs to make such a fass about such little people. So at the end Serbia is depending from the opinion of such village-politicians (this man is only "known" as head of a local brass-orchestra). If the president AND the PM are attending a reception in the German embassy, what in Germany no president or PM would do (for a reception of the Serb embassy only a deputy-minister (if?) would come, Serbia has no more space to give a real high-rank politician special importance. If every brass-fan has such an echo, Serbia is fast at the end of the protocol.
