Dear Germans
Don't hold your breath then LOL.
PS Why don't you try it on with us on your own without your allies, we kicked your a** twice before and we'll do it again.

well, Hansi-boy, why don´t the Germans flex some muscle? I bet the average german soldier will remember how they ran away from the albanian mob in 2004... within KFOR the Germans are called the "bunnies from kosovo-field"...
and don´t forget: the Serbs are not to compare with the Albanians... the Serbs fight for themselves and do not need foreigners to do the job for them... I hope you got my point =)

Its the idea of little countzries like Serbia with their little understanding of countries like Germany to believe that the German government can be involved in the business with other countries (like Serbias government is doing with "Politika" etc) or that the German government is sending according to political parties the CEOs to big companies. Only the companies are deciding if Serbia is interesting as market or not. The other side is the interest of a stability within Serbia and to discuss some loans by the EU or IMF. And the turnover in trade with Serbia is so small ind so un-important sectors, that nobody is interested in the daily business. Serbias share among the Germans Export is 0,06%, Great Britain is 100 times higher, but also BiH is higher with 0,07%, Rumania is 12 times higher Croatia is 3,5 times higher. On the German import side the Serbian position is much weaker as on the export-side where the Serbs are importing every nonsense like cheese or yoghurt.

"How about not handing you over money, to keep your proud country from collapsing?"
You should probably read The Financial Times, Wallstreet Journal or good old German Handelsblatt to get a more realistic impression of Germany's very stable economy.

No, Heinz, we are not.
I think the Germans should not fool themselves, there is no friendship with them as long as they meddle in serbian affairs. you are not welcome, Heinz.

However, if peaceful dialogue fails, Berlin has other options as well.

I think Serbia's position is pretty clear for Germany: no recognition and no dismantling of legitimate and legal institutions some like to call "parallel". Those are the basic positions, and I'm sure we can entertain Heinz on additional stipulations if he's interested. Don't know what Germany is waiting on since the message has been pretty clear for years.
However, if peaceful dialogue fails, Berlin has other options as well.

"Throughout history, Serbs and Germans have not always been friends, but today they are, which is illustrated by the fact that Germany is Serbia's top trading partner,”
This is why Serbia should shift its diplomacy away from the German Government and towards German business. Business wants to make money and expand markets, while the Government has political ambitions. It is easier to deal with someone when you know exactly what they want, and they are upfront about it.
pre 11 godina
The strategy is very simple. Kosovo is Serbian, and no recognition. Currently, it is under occupation, but it will pass, as always.

The German ambassador's wisdom must be respected. However, if peaceful dialogue fails, Berlin has other options as well.

Does anyone in Europe READ what's going on there??? Most of Europe is broke- the banks, investors, and large sovereign countries. It is not the thriving Europe of 20 years ago, when the EU was in it's "glory days". There is not a single reason for Serbian citizens to join the EU now- unless they want a more difficult life than they have. The EU only benefits the "upper level" and anonymous EU bureaucrats to promote German interests, not Serbian interests. It's good to see Nikolic, Dacic, and company "dance around" this crazy EU pressure.....rather than dancing with them. Again I say, Serbia's patience (aka "delays") will pay off when the EU sinks.

"Throughout history, Serbs and Germans have not always been friends,"
This shows that the German ELITE, not the normal people, are against Serbia at all. I haver seen such a statement. Not to forget how Goethe has seen Serb literature with great respect. But for the German elites Serbia was not following all orders. And the proof, that both countries are not enemies, should be in the eyes of Wilhelm the "trade". Wow.
