To make it clear: Kosovo has 0% chance to ever become an UN member until a mutual agreement has been reached.
(Comm. Parrisson, 3 October 2012 20:14)

Exactly, that's why no mutual agreement will ever be reached, because under that mutual agreement, Kosovo will still not become a UN member (I'm assuming, of course, that Serbia will never recognize Kosovo).

@"a new day": who´s naive here, actually? =)

given that 5 european countries are considering russian help right now, financial help, it´s better to make that clear in order not to make you shiver... and Island is even negotiating with Russia over a russian army-base ... and even in the middle east there are clear signs indicating that the US are losing grip, and I do not only refer to the fact that Egypt´s new Morsi made his first visits somewhere else than inthe US - I leave it to you find out where he travelled first...
it is a new world indeed, my dear k-albanian friend. and you are so blinded by your naive dream of being "friends" with the US that you do no see what is happening in the world... you may go on dreaming...

but you shouldn´t prove so eagerly your naivety, I guess.

there is nothing to change in regard to my last comment, indeed.

may I recommend you a new nickname? try it with "from yesterday!" ..and dotn´t worry, when the time has come you and your likes will not be there to witness it. cowards usually leave before the battle...

your future might be german, since there are a lot of albanian criminals in Germany, as I know from my german friends. and they all came with tears in their eyes, running away from Serbia.. that´s what the Germans told me. think about it, mr.yesterday..

Your such an imaginative child, your parents muct have high hopes for you.
As an American but better yet part of NATO, Albanians in Kosovo have nothing to fear from Serbian ultranationalists. It IS a different world now. Milosevic was allowed to carry on his program so long because it was still considered an internal matter and it took a lot to convince others to intervene. That situation has been alleviated. It IS an international matter now. There are no needs for new mandates to squelch the aspirations of some rogue Generals.
Another reason, while Russia is vocally supporting you at the UN, they are not going to allow you to start a war involving their much needed energy customers.

to all my dear k-albanian friends, whose nerve I have hit it seems:

don´t you worry about the "guts" of me or other Serbs - we are burning and ready as soon as our domestic obstacles have vanished.

you might go on training, but believe me, the serb army is very professional and if it is about liberating what is serbian territory they will be very motivated indeed.

so, yours is it to wait. I think that torching churches and beating up elderly serb women perfectly shows what others have to think of you.

and last but not least, if somebody is barking here, my dear k-albanian friends, it is you... =)

as one writer here has put it, you may be chestbeating and writing king-kong phrases but inside you are full of fear. we know that. and given what you have done in the last 13 years, you have reason to fear us.

If Serbia and Kosovo reach a mutual agreement, the one I mentioned above which is most practcal and likely to be reached,China and Russia still will block Kosovo?I dont think so my friend, coz there is no excuse to block Kosovo after an agreement has been reached.

You really are full of hope. Serbia will not settle for autonomy anywhere in Kosovo.
Any government prepared to go in that direction will not last.
It is Albanians who are going to have to accept autonomy and only if they promise to behave, not like last time.
So you will end up in the UN but only as part of Serbia. Actually you are in the UN right now because Serbia is.

In the other words if Serbia agrees not to block Kosovo's way to UN,Russia and China will still use the veto power to block Kosovo?

Both sides have positions far from each other. So a meeting would only be a date for photographers AND good for the Kosovo-PR. It would look like Serbias capitualition, what it would be in reality. The summit between US and China in the Nixon-era was prepared over years and years by confidential talks of both sides in Warsaw. To get something in the hands would need a long-term working process. Wow "working", not popular in this region.

What kind of authonomy? The one that u striped in 1999?Or the one you gave to Vojvodina in 2006 and cancelled in 2012?U had a chance to give them full authonomy or a partition until 1999,but what u did?Just ignore the problem and support 10% of population to supress the other 90%.

How do we know that, for example, after giving authonomy to Kosovo you are not going to strip it,like you did in 1989 or in 2012 with Vojvodina?
Nobody,I mean nobody believs than Serbia will give full authonomy to Albanians and live them alone.Serbia ,my friend, always will find a way to rule them and make their feel like second class citizens.

Maybe Atifete wants to talk about the unfinished Orthodox church in Pristina, that Albanians propose be either torn down or desecrated? Or maybe she would like to talk about the 40,000 Serbs that were driven out of their homes in Pristina by crazed Albanian separatist mobs? Yes, there are so many topics to discuss, yet red lines have been drawn by both sides. Which means, we don't really want to talk, we just have to because we are asked to do so by our EU overlords. What a sham - by the way, who are the Albanians in KiM to be demanding anything? According to the Priština media, Jahjaga claims that in the coming talks both sides will be on equal footing and represented as states, and not in any other manner.

She can claim what she wants, but the whole world knows better than her that Kosovo is not a state like 197 others in the world. No, Kosovo belongs to group of 'disputed territories'. "sweetie" they are not going anywhere soon and when they do you will have died of old age and just a picture on your families mantel. They will not be gone until assurances that most of your kind have withered away.
A guarantee by one of the what you call "occupiers" Your day of imposing oppression are over!

honey, you are not in the position to draw "red lines"...

as soon as the foreign occupation ends, you will see it for yourself.
(Jovan, 3 October 2012 12:40)

When that time comes we will be armed and ready for you. Then we will see where the red lines will be.

You belive that it will be like in 1998-99 when you had war against civilian liberation fighters with AK47.

"Next time" it will not be as easy as you hope for.

to all my dear k-albanian friends, whose nerve I have hit it seems:

don´t you worry about the "guts" of me or other Serbs - we are burning and ready as soon as our domestic obstacles have vanished.

you might go on training, but believe me, the serb army is very professional and if it is about liberating what is serbian territory they will be very motivated indeed.

so, yours is it to wait. I think that torching churches and beating up elderly serb women perfectly shows what others have to think of you.

and last but not least, if somebody is barking here, my dear k-albanian friends, it is you... =)

as one writer here has put it, you may be chestbeating and writing king-kong phrases but inside you are full of fear. we know that. and given what you have done in the last 13 years, you have reason to fear us.

let´s just see what future brings!

...EA, nobody wishes to rule over the Albanians in KiM, especially Serbs. They can have their autonomy, but they cannot have Kosovo i Metohija....
@Ecoman,
R u sure about this?Nobody wants to rule over Albanians, especially serbs?
...They can have their authonomy...

The chapter for authonomy or partition was closed in 1999.

Where have u lived in pas 13 years?
Kosovo has been recognised by 92 UN members and most influential states.Soon Kosovo wil pas number 97 and get the official majority even in UN.It is not like SO or Noth Cyprus whose have been recognised by 4 and 1 state respectively.
The negotiations are for Kosovo to enter in UN and Serbia to save the face "by never recognised Kosovo".
Negotiations are going to be about the North where is going to be an authonomy for serbs there,in echange for Serbia not to block Kosovo in UN.

If Serbia and Kosovo reach a mutual agreement, the one I mentioned above which is most practcal and likely to be reached,China and Russia still will block Kosovo?I dont think so my friend, coz there is no excuse to block Kosovo after an agreement has been reached.
The same goes for 5 loners of EU.They will recognise Kosovo as soon as Serbia reaches an agreement, and they have said so loudly.
(Mirel from Albania, 3 October 2012 21:29)

You really are full of hope. Serbia will not settle for autonomy anywhere in Kosovo.
Any government prepared to go in that direction will not last.
It is Albanians who are going to have to accept autonomy and only if they promise to behave, not like last time.
So you will end up in the UN but only as part of Serbia. Actually you are in the UN right now because Serbia is.

Kosovo to enter the UN? I what kind of dream world you are living?

To make it clear: Kosovo has 0% chance to ever become an UN member until a mutual agreement has been reached. And no, it's not Serbia, but the UNSC veto powers Russia and China who are able and willing to block the UN membership of a self-proclaimed pseudo-state created by a small ethnic minority on the territory of a sovereign and recognized member state

So if they agree in what I mentioned above, dont u think is mutual agreement?
Secondly,U mentioned Russia and China that they are blocking Kosovo, not Serbia.
In the other words if Serbia agrees not to block Kosovo's way to UN,Russia and China will still use the veto power to block Kosovo?
I dont think so.

Maybe they will fall in love and start their own tribe the Aerbia tribe cool. They don't quote this area as Balkanization for nothing of coarse Serbia will have to cede some land to the new tribe.

(Comm. Parrisson, 3 October 2012 20:14)

Exactly, that's why no mutual agreement will ever be reached, because under that mutual agreement, Kosovo will still not become a UN member (I'm assuming, of course, that Serbia will never recognize Kosovo).
