"O so because Vojvodina has a majority Serbian population then that means it's Serbian. Then why are you being an empty vessel making the most noise since Kosova is more 90% Albanian. If population is what decides on Vojvodina, then population is what decides on Kosova. Simple. Case closed. Keep making noise though
(j, 3 October 2012 02:10)"

Show me where on B92 was I "being an empty vessel making the most noise since Kosova is more 90% Albanian" ??????? You can't, can you? Because I never did. To me the only empty vessel making more noise than EA himself is obviously YOU!

BTW, since you talked about case closed for Kosova ..... the same should apply to North Kosovo and Strpce too with their Serb majority too, right? Case closed too, right?

And oh, did you know Vojvodina enough to know that it is some two thirds Serb majority today? Or is yours a case of empty vessels making the most noise?

Serbia is isolated socio-politically and not even Russia is willing to help you.

It's simple...we keep Serbia out of the bloc.

@EA:

you must not forget that the only thing the k-albanians did to achieve foreign occupation is whining and begging. keep it real, dude.

@Peggy: you are not right with the suicide-theory, but it would not be very smart to join the EU, when it is organized the way it is today. they are broke, and we do not have to join a party without music...

@Danilo: you couldn´t be farer away from reality - now that the yellow bandits around Tadic and Co. are bystanders again for the first time after several years Serbia has the chance to take a breath of fresh air again. we will see how honest the new government is, in regard to national interests. but that is no issue for Tadic anymore.

the foreign spin-doctors are very active these days, it seems.

Sounds like a message with a purpose. We can analyze all we want for now but time will tell. Hopefully this will lead toward a step away from EU integration as it is what the vast majority of Serbian citizens want.

A side note: EA... "Albanians made Kosovo independent from Serbia", what are you talking about? You pro-Albanians honestly believe that you have achieved anything in Kosovo. How naive you are to believe that Western Powers/EU powers are honestly helping Albania.

And poor albanians who thought Serbia will recognize Kosovo independence for EU membership. I guess its back to the drawingbord. What will make the serbs give up Kosovo?
(Hank the Tank, 1 October 2012 20:30)

Sure, you thought that Albanians thought that Serbia will recognize Kosovo independence for EU membership.

Albanians have already Kosovo and certainly are not waiting for Serbia to give or not give it up. The only problem is that Serbia may join the EU before Kosovo and thus cause trouble for Kosovo. But Albanians will make sure that Serbia does not join the EU any time soon and fortunately they have very strong Serbian allies about that in these forums.

"Clearly integrations are a two-way street where it is not only the EU that is making its conditions. Simply put, each candidate country must first be interested in joining the European Union. We must see what kind of conditions the Serbian authorities have in mind," the German diplomat was quoted as saying.

I think Serbia's condition are clear:
1. No recognition of Kosovo as an independent country.
2. No blackmail like abolishing Serbian institutions in Northern Kosovo
3. Status neutral negotiations with the 'elected' Kosovo government
and maybe
4. Serious investigations into the organ harvesting case where allegedly criminal Albanians were involved that still hold state positions nowadays.

How wrong you are, Peggy.

Serbia is broken in ways you couldn't possibly know, living in Australia.

Sadly, Serbia cannot simply fix itself. EU ascension is the best blueprint Serbia is ever going to get to fix its many, many endemic problems.

Well, looks like Serbia's decided to go backwards again. I wounder how long it's going to take for people there to either hate this president or bring back communism. I estimate 2-3 years, but considering the way things are going, could be shorter. Serbians have never had the talent for spotting shit leaders early.

What are you talking about "poor Albanians....asking Serbia to recognise Kosovo independence...."
Albanians made Kosovo independent from Serbia....if it was for "asking" it would have never happened. Ask Vojvodina......they will tell you what asking mean....still under Serbia. We are expressing opinions what need to be done to establish a lasting peace between Albanians and Serbians. It would be very unfortunate for a nation/country to say at the end of the game "we did not know about it" or "noone told us about it" or "we fee discriminated".....

Interesting how those mentioned in this article are downplaying Nikolic's strong words and making excuses for his rather flamboyant speech.
He is known for speaking his mind, which makes you wonder about the state of his sanity.
Countries which are queuing to COMPETE to help Serbia??!? Running after EU membership has caused this country to fall into poverty so now the time has come to look after ourselves??
