Where have you been the last 50-100 years or more? There are many times the budget has not been passed until the last minute, and many times they have had to enact emergency funding, even a few times they have closed non essential offices for a couple of days in order to pass the budget. It is a game especially in an election year, there is no way a budget was going to pass before election day.
As far as, running out of money. You Serbs keep hanging on to that hope, all we have to do is wait, maybe you should not be focusing your dreams on the west going broke and look around you, your politicians are clutching onto the drain grate to keep from be sucked down. Yes they have secured several several loans in the last few weeks, enough that they will not have to reduce THEIR lifestyle over the next few months but no enough to impact yours.
You better hope that the west does not run out of money to the point they can no longer help Kosovo, because that only means that Serbia as you know it is no more.

South Korea has approx 20,000 army personnel throw in Navy, Air Force, Marines and it is 28,500 in a foreign country that has not been at war for 60 years. US is committed to protecting Japan and Japan pays somewhere around 2 billion dollars a year to the US, there is currently more than 35,000 troops. Diego Garcia is going no where as it is strategic to operations in the Mid East.
Australia wanted the US to have a foothold there in case need arises but not a full fleged base as not to jeopardize economic relations with China so they are allowing 2500 US personnel to rotate in and out for "training" purposes.

In the reality partition will be the best option for Kosovo Serbs and Albanians, Kosovo will then be able to unify with Albania but question is why is the west so set on putting up this propaganda of a multi-ethnic Kosovo, it doesn't benefit anyone not Albania, not Serbia. Kosovo and Serbia should have just come to an agreement on independence from the very beginning (1990) instead of doing it in a way which would cause all those wars and now they are both guaranteeing a new future war.

Hashim Thaçi better be careful what he says that there will be no partition as that can turn out to be a reality and Kosovo can be a semi-recognized limbo like Western Sahara or Taiwan for decades to come or Serbia may decide to take the whole of Kosovo if there is a power shift, arguments like there will never be a power shift or keep dreaming don't stick as the world is unpredictable. Also Northern Kosovo, still being part of Kosovo allows Serbs to move to other parts of Kosovo allowing more areas to join Serbia. I don't think Trepča is the reason either because no one, not even the west is mining in those allegedly resource rich areas and the west doesn't seem to care about them, besides the largest mine is in Southern Mitrovica controlled by Albanians. The reason for pushing for a multi-ethnic Kosovo in my opinion is so there can be minorities which the west pretends to be protecting so they can keep their military in Kosovo which is in close proximity to Russia and the middle east.

Yes it all going to be kept open meanwhile back in the US the debt gets higher and higher – its already 120% of GDP. Then there is the best part where over the next decade the US will reduce its borrowings by 2 trillion, but it still needs to borrow to maintain the current level of living standards.

To start properly the US would need to stop borrowing 1 trilion per year now, which would mean either no military or yes you have one but no living standards and poverty on a scale not seen before in a first world country.

Now the last part is the best. Your trying to tell me about Australia. Its the US that was pushing Canberra for a “base’ although how the US would pay for it I don’t know unless they would try and force the Australians.

So who said no to that idea? China. 2500 marines is a token effort because they couldn’t stop a brawl in a bar – its all smoke and mirrors for US public image mate.

I see the US finally got around to writing up a response for him to publicly deliver. Oh well, nothing we haven't heard before: no partition because of a precedent that was already set by granting Kosovo* quasi independence; integration of northern Kosovo into the most dysfunctional and corrupt political system in Europe; faulty statistics on the number of recognitions; and a quick dismissal of fact and figures gathered from various IGOs and NGOs because it hurts his "image". I'll say, Kosovo* has suffered more under him and his ilk than under Milosevic, but I have to love this little guy. The more he remains America's sock puppet, the more Kosovo remains a bad joke. Where have you been the last 50-100 years or more? There are many times the budget has not been passed until the last minute, and many times they have had to enact emergency funding, even a few times they have closed non essential offices for a couple of days in order to pass the budget. It is a game especially in an election year, there is no way a budget was going to pass before election day.
As far as, running out of money. You Serbs keep hanging on to that hope, all we have to do is wait, maybe you should not be focusing your dreams on the west going broke and look around you, your politicians are clutching onto the drain grate to keep from be sucked down. Yes they have secured several several loans in the last few weeks, enough that they will not have to reduce THEIR lifestyle over the next few months but no enough to impact yours.
You better hope that the west does not run out of money to the point they can no longer help Kosovo, because that only means that Serbia as you know it is no more.

In the reality partition will be the best option for Kosovo Serbs and Albanians, Kosovo will then be able to unify with Albania but question is why is the west so set on putting up this propaganda of a multi-ethnic Kosovo, it doesn't benefit anyone not Albania, not Serbia. Kosovo and Serbia should have just come to an agreement on independence from the very beginning (1990) instead of doing it in a way which would cause all those wars and now they are both guaranteeing a new future war.

Hashim Thaçi better be careful what he says that there will be no partition as that can turn out to be a reality and Kosovo can be a semi-recognized limbo like Western Sahara or Taiwan for decades to come or Serbia may decide to take the whole of Kosovo if there is a power shift, arguments like there will never be a power shift or keep dreaming don't stick as the world is unpredictable. Also Northern Kosovo, still being part of Kosovo allows Serbs to move to other parts of Kosovo allowing more areas to join Serbia. I don't think Trepča is the reason either because no one, not even the west is mining in those allegedly resource rich areas and the west doesn't seem to care about them, besides the largest mine is in Southern Mitrovica controlled by Albanians. The reason for pushing for a multi-ethnic Kosovo in my opinion is so there can be minorities which the west pretends to be protecting so they can keep their military in Kosovo which is in close proximity to Russia and the middle east.

Sandzak will join Bosnia, Pirot region will join Bulgaria, etc.

US is committed to protecting Japan and Japan pays somewhere around 2 billion dollars a year to the US, there is currently more than 35,000 troops. Diego Garcia is going no where as it is strategic to operations in the Mid East.
Australia wanted the US to have a foothold there in case need arises but not a full fleged base as not to jeopardize economic relations with China so they are allowing 2500 US personnel to rotate in and out for "training" purposes.

Then there is the best part where over the next decade the US will reduce its borrowings by 2 trillion, but it still needs to borrow to maintain the current level of living standards.

To start properly the US would need to stop borrowing 1 trilion per year now, which would mean either no military or yes you have one but no living standards and poverty on a scale not seen before in a first world country.

Now the last part is the best. Your trying to tell me about Australia. Its the US that was pushing Canberra for a “base’ although how the US would pay for it I don’t know unless they would try and force the Australians.

Australia is the bottom part of South East Asia and 2500 marines could not stop a bar brawl let alone take any action. Get a map of the region and have a good look – it is tropical conditions and there are over 1000 islands in the Indonesia alone. You could have 1000 000 troops with the entire six US fleets and you would still have trouble controlling that region so what are 2,500 going to do?
