Serbia has wasted too much time trying to please the EU and it has enacted so many EU-pushed policies to the detriment of itself.
(ida, 30 September 2012 07:58)

Not sure which are these EU policies (like rule of law, freedom of expression, independence of courts, remove of customs duties so that Serbia can sell its cheap products in Europe, etc...) that are to the detriment of Serbia... but I trust that you know better.

You are free not to join the EU but, say, Russia whose policies (like rule of the tzar, control of the press by the government, control of the courts by the government, remove of the custom duties so that Russia can sell its cheap goods in Serbia, etc) will really be beneficial to Serbia.

Look, any way you slice it Kosovo is an illegal entity. There are international laws and treaties that state that ANY internationally recognized states, such as Serbia (a founding member of the UN) can not have its borders changed against its own will. The Helsinki final act signed by thirty-five states, including the USA, Canada, and most European states except Albania guaranteed the following: Sovereign equality, respect for the rights inherent in sovereignty. Refraining from the threat or use of force. Inviolability of frontiers. Territorial integrity of States. Peaceful settlement of disputes. Non-intervention in internal affairs
(Miki, 29 September 2012 21:44)

Sure, dear, you are absolutely correct. The issue is that there was no other state that attacked Serbia and took Kosovo away. Kosovo declared independence and until it became independent it was not a subject of any of the laws above because they are international laws; i.e. laws that regulate conduct between states, and Kosovo was not a state before the UDI. What you're saying is that Kosovo was a state before the UDI which I'm sure the overhelming majority of the people in these forums would not agree with :)

Anyway, we're flogging a dead horse here since the accordance of Kosovo's DI with international law has already been confirmed thanks to Vuk's tireless efforts.

Serbia must stay out of the EU, like Switzerland and Norway. It is foolish to put itself under the dictates of an entity which has shown malice towards Serbs and Serbia. Serbia has wasted too much time trying to please the EU and it has enacted so many EU-pushed policies to the detriment of itself. Serbia would free up much time and energy towards bettering itself if it would stop focusing on the EU as the end-all and be-all.

There are NOT MANY examples you just trying to cover the truth. Everybody knows Mali was a mistake caused by their own. This was treated in all Albanian media. I asked you where is a 'fade' you talking about after 13 years and where is reverse UDI of states that know Kosovo? They are 91 UN member states that know Kosovo and two others not UN members. None of states that have known Kosovo has reversed their decision. Out of 57 Muslim states only 30 of them have recognized Kosovo, one would think that all of them should, but not. does this tells you anything. And Israel is not a poppet state and not a state to be pressure either. will you please find other example, I will help you with this site of wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_recognition_of_Kosovo

Eurasian Union? is that similar to Peter Pans Never, Never land?
So lets see if there were to be one, 15 years to develop the concept, 10 years to develop it and get the core people and 5 years to start admitting new countries, and then 10 years for Serbia to ascend to a vote. 40 years later and the same countries blocking Serbia in the EU would be there blocking Serbia from the EA. Good thought process there.

Watch Kukan reinterpret his words as Schultz did, but then claimed he didn't. More evidence these people aren't worth a single sheet of toilet paper. Glory to Albanians joining the Eu before the Serbs! Wait for the knife in the back because it is surely coming. Tick tock.

Why does the EU have some weird illusion that Kosovo will become some sort of Belgium where the two sides live together with nothing worse than minor annoyance with each other? It's not going to happen, Kosovo is not Belgium, especially when you have the leader of the Kosovo province under suspicion of being involved in drug and organ trafficking.

There are MANY examples that anyone can find if you are willing to invest the time to LOOK for them. Its not rocket science. Look, any way you slice it Kosovo is an illegal entity.
(Miki, 29 September 2012 21:44)

And please stop nonsense.

@ We know. I would just pass entering EU.

At last! Someone is being realistic here. Better get carrot before you get kicked out from both!
I personally agree that Serbian citizens deserve better life, just as Kosovo people do. Almost 13 years have passed
Since war ended in Kosovo, and I don't see any reason why youth of these two countries do not take opportunities for their own interest, get together end move on into European integrations.

It's always cute to read how Serbia should be like Switzerland and Norway.

It's true!

Also, I should have millions and a private jet-pack to travel around with.
