@gjon:

how comes that the Albanians dismiss each and everything that doesn´t suit their greater-albanian phantasies as lies and wrong??? =)

come on, Gjon, he is very likely no liar, and you know that.

That’a exactly what you are – modest to say the least.
(sj, 30 September 2012 04:30)

Absolutely! That’s why, as you’ve seen from my posts, I’m your biggest admirer since you are a giant in economic thinking and analysis due to your distinguished experience at a leading global financial institution like the famous Malaysian merchant bank and unparalleled news sources like your legendary Malaysian friend.
----------

I’m talking about the EU and yuor on about Serbia. We all know Serbia’s situation very well – I have read those articles as have many of your Albanians colleagues.
(sj, 30 September 2012 04:30)

I don’t have any Albanian colleagues, but it’s great that we’re trying to think about our countries first before worrying about the EU for which I don’t care whether it goes to hell or the paradise.
----------

When have you seen anything like these articles from the west? Or even better how are things in Kosova? LOL. Wait until the full force of this recession hits Pristina then I’ll ask you the same question until then you keep singing about the great west.
(sj, 30 September 2012 04:30)

Sorry, you must be confusing me with somebody else! I’m the strongest supporter of your preaching in these forums about how great Russia and China are. How couldn’t I be ?! You are the CE of the B92 forums.

By the way when is NATO going to launch an attack on Syria? What the most powerful battle group wont do it? Yes the most power windbag maybe.
(sj, 30 September 2012 04:30)

NATO launching an attack on Syria?! With words, yes, but a military one never… or at least not until they’ve squeezed any possible PR benefit to make Russia like bad. Agreed, that’s being paid with the blood of the Syrians, but hey I don’t think anybody here expects NATO to be this organization of high principles :)

This economic crisis stems from the west in particular the US. Then the problem spread to the EU and it then affected all economies. It is only the China that has substantial reserves the west (except Australia) live off loans or print their own money. This is not one of those economic rises and falls; this is far, far more serious than any western government is willing to talk about. Japan had a decade of recession but Japan also hled huge reserves to draw upon. Today the west has exhausted all avenues and is going into a “second recession” with nothing.
Kosovo does not have an economy in the true sense of the word nor is it classified by any financial institution as having one either. Kosovo lives off EU aid and no financial institution will lend any money to Prsitina, they will to Belgrade but not to Pristina. Albanians are only mouths to feed and nothing else. Kosovo is a burden to Brussels.
Anyway why would Kosovo integrate its economy with a people that murdered their relatives and tortured their people???? Why would you do that? Or is it that the Albanians are lying through their teeth and now that times are tough and the west did not pave the streets with gold in Prisitna then Serbai and Kosovo need to integrate their economies.
Belgrade does not need Pristina but Pristina needs Belgrade.

Jovan, this guy is a liar. Fact that hi is Albanian and he openly doesn't like this fact, tells you a lot who he is. And also he is proud of being Serbian. So I do not know how to count him as an Albanian. He said that in 1974 when Kosovo has broader autonomy Albanians are 50% of population. But according to census of 1971 population of Albanians is 73.7% and Serbian 13.2%. I admit, I did quit reading his interview because I have no time for crap. The party is over and the good time are finished. Now its time to pay for the drinks and orchestra that played at the party over the last decade or so. Look even the French now admit that their 2013 budget is going to be savage. So what does Baroness Ashton have to offer Serbia? (I love these titles and where a people live in the past but are of no consequence in the 21 century) nothing at all – as I said before it like an opera with the EU singing “You have to fulfill certain conditions before joining” and the Serbs reply “We want to join” and both side know very well that the EU cannot take on any more countries until the EU financial mess is sorted out. The latest on the EU situation was summed up yesterday by an Australian economist who said “the EU will be in a recession for a decade if they are lucky”.

no need for "tough decisions" at all. Serbia´s constitution clearly says what is important.

Tough decisions for Serbia mean applying all agreements reached with Kosovo, and that follows to recognition of independence. It's only that Baroness Ashton can not be that direct. And that is called politics!

EA

pre 11 godina

"... the need for Serbia to boldly engage in these talks", encouraging her interlocutor "to be ready to take some tough decisions".

A tough decision for Serbian leadership would be to call a referendum for Serbian people as soon as possible whether they want EU prospect by recognising officiallty Kosovo independence or No EU/no Kosovo or Russian Federation/"with" Kosovo in Koshtunica's constitution.

So the Serbian polititians will shift the responsibilty to Serbian people and do not have to waste other's people time and money.
