We are not denying a border exists but we consider it an administrative border. Flashing an ID card, which everyone has to carry anyway, it not a big deal. Of course, this only applies to adults as children just go through. So it is obviously not the type of border you dream it is.
(Zoran, 27 September 2012 14:55)

Zoran - Its interesting that Serb posters including the media and politicians keep using the word "administrative border". If one does some research you will find that no such thing exists. There is no such word or definition of an "administrative border". Its a purely made up word used by Serbians that has no international equivalent. If there was an equivalent, then Serbians would be using that term, but they are not. Keep lying to yourselves:)

@Zoran,
Keep living in the dream world.Keep citing here Ahmadinajad and other head of states who have had enough with US.
But if they have had enough with US I can asure u they have had enough with Russia and China who only export is poverty.
U can tell me when u will pass the border after they will implement the agreement.It was more serious and if you have passed throung Merdare I am sure u needed more than a flashing ID.Ask Vulic about that.
U have passed Jarine and Bernjak which have no rule but only a formal custom office which doesnt enforce laws since alternative routes still exist.
As for Kosovo or Kosova*,to me it doesnt matter.As long as Serbia and Kosovo* or Kosova* have the same rights in the organization where they attend there is no asimetric representation.Asimetric representation would have been if for example,Serbia had veto power and Kosovo* no,or of Serbia has 1 vote and Kosova* 0.9 vote.But if Serbia and Kosova have the same power inside the organizations to me is equal regardless of labels.
But it looks label-lovers(with empty power) are very important block in Serbia.
Thats why your minister is refering administrative border,a new label for people like you.Anyway enjoy your day and ling live Kushtunica!(Sorry he never will be elected anymore coz he was PM when Kosovo become independent and was recognised by 53 states)

Guys, it's either either a BORDER between to states, or an Administrative LINE. There is not such a thing as "administrative border".

Stop misleading Serbian People, how patronizing is this new invention "administrative border"?!

B=Border!
IBM it says on legal documents and Agreements, now you tell me which of the above is it referring to?

@ Zoran,
Flashing an ID u can go from Kosovo to Albania,but still is a border and not an administrative line.
If u go from Kosovo to Albania or Serbia and u pay taxes in the custom office,to me is a border my friend.

My friend, KiM is a separate customs zone to the rest of Serbia, that is what this is about. Albanians are attempting to change that but this government will not allow it.

Now, I've crossed the KiM/Central Serbia border many times and I can tell you, the driver will show some ID and the car goes through regardless of whoever else is in the car. I've also gone through the border of Serbia and Republika Srpska. Yes, you only need a Serbian ID there also but children need a passport. That is the same as Albania and KiM, as that is a proper border. Show me a state border where people go through without showing ID? Now that is a reality check for you my friend.

As for what may come.... complete speculation. I've heard quite a lot of rumours also (especially those being pushed by the west), but so far none have come through. Perhaps if you listened to all of speeches from heads of state at the UNGA, I think you'll realise most countries have had enough of the US and the west. They have only cause problems in this world, "Kosova"* being just one example.

The line between Vojvodina and Serbia is an administrative one.
Like it or not my friend you just accepted that Kosovo and Serbia are not one state or even a Confederation or union.
Kosovo is being officially recognised by almost half of UN members,85% of EU members,87% of NATO members,all C7 members etc etc.
Soon you are going to cut a deal with Noth Kosovo some kind of economic authonomy in return of not blocking Kosovo to become a UN member.And everybody will be happy,you coz u didnt officially recognise Kosova and albanians coz they got a UN seat.
Kosovo's independence is irreverseble my friend and sooner u accept it better for everyone.

The point here is that there is a border even if you don't show or show ID.

A flash of ID card you think that makes it less of a border? Funny, really funny! All over Europe no need to flash your ID and now all Europe is part of Serbia or...? The point here is that there is a border even if you don't show or show ID.

"Especially when it comes to the Jarinje and Brnjak administrative crossings," he said.
--
So essentially, we are talking customs officers and not border guards. All duties from the Jarinje and Brnjak crossings go directly to the Serbian institutions in the north. All goods from Serbia travel through these crossings, which should provide extra funding to Serbs in KiM.

As for crossing the administrative border, nothing changes. A flash of an ID card and that's all.
