Quit making excuses. Serbia was not consulted when the KLA declared independence, because it was not necessary to do so.

-- Serbia unilaterally sabotaged the dialogue by adopting a constitution in the middle of status negotiations that unilaterally tried to determine the status of Kosova while status negotiations were ongoing. After this move by Serbia it was no longer necessary or even productive to consult her later when the Declaration of Independence was adopted. Since Serbia destroyed status talks by unilaterally attempting to set Kosova's status through a unilateral constitution where Albanians were removed from voting list, then by that act Serbia rescinded any remote possibility to be consulted later on right before the declaration. You guys have big mouths sometime and a propensity for populists and short sighted actions. That's what has always gotten you in trouble, not some conspiracy theory from the west. The thing is though you don't seem to learn.

@Sam:

we will take care of it, and then my dear k-albanian friend, you´ll be the one who will have to wake up. but from that nightmare, you won´t wake up.

there is nothing to divide, it is all serbian territory, only foreign-occupied at the moment. and oh, just to make it clear to our albanian boy: KiM is not under albanian control. the Albanians only live on our soil, control is being exercised by the US and their allies.

you are only bystanders. objects instead of subjects. with a big mouth, of course...

Quit making excuses. Serbia was not consulted when the KLA declared independence, because it was not necessary to do so. the US and the majority EU states that recognize the independence also did not bother consulting with Serbia over Kosovo. Together they pushed the total to over 90 countries along with all the relevent trade orginizations such as the IMF. Yet Kosovo is an abject failure and almost five full years into its supposed independence it still needs to blame Serbia.

The EU is ashamed to admit their first colony is failing, and would blame Serbia to. Enough though, you didn't need Serbia, you rejected Serbia, you said you want nothing with Serbia and now you cry over the fact that the Serbian people do not want to recognize your independence?

Trade with the Countries that recognize you, no one is standing in your way, establish an independent judiciary, ask that your Government does not spend more than it takes in, build things instead of tearing them down, stop electing mobsters and most importantly quit making demands of Serbia while you blame it for your lack of effort.

Your failures and Successes have nothing to do with Serbia

Someone please wake up this Serb Politician, he must still be asleep since 1999 and does not yet know that Serbia has lost Kosovo now for 13 years.

Maybe in 500 years the Serbs will have assimilated the Albanians of Kosovo but for now and the next 500 years Kosovo will be in Albanian control.

Quick history lesson, Serbs controlled Kosovo for only 87 years in the last 536 years. Its been under Albanian - Turkish control for 449 years since 1389 and will remain so for another 500 years minimum.
