Exactly. West Germany never recognized East Germany. In time they reunified, fired everyone from the DDR and took it over without a shot being fired. Nice that Germany thinks that little about Albanians. Then again, no one thinks much about Albanians.
(Franz, 24 September 2012 00:22)

Not sure who fired whom, but Ms. Chancellor grew up in the DDR, was a member of the communist FDJ and even a member of the FDJ district board for Agitation and Propaganda and was the deputy spokesperson of the last DDR leader.

"Exactly. West Germany never recognized East Germany. In time they reunified, fired everyone from the DDR and took it over without a shot being fired. "

Reunification is the key word. Just like the two Germanys reunited, Serbia and Kosova must join Turkey once again.

Albanian Facts are Funny

Leave it up to Albanians to somehow believe that a "two Germanies" model for Serbia and Kosovo somehow translates into eventual unification with Albania. Logic and common reasoning apparently skipped over Europe's oldest yet apparently underdeveloped civilization.

Michael

If the Sebs understand the so-called German-model correctly it can be used but only for the unification of Kosovo and Albania, two countries of same nationality are coming together in a historic process...hee you can see how the stupid rhetoric in Serbia due to low education and information about world-affairs (what was once Politika or Tanjug with their superb information but not more today), so Serbia is digging his own grave with jumping over all little wood-pieces presented by people not beeing freinds with Serbia

Michael

First at all: Serbia will not EU-member during the next ten years, so many time for new conditions
German-German model ist only a stupid idea of people who want to have Kosovo recognized: both German states were later UN-mebers, but one state is not more there: so hass Serbia to be destroyed forever?
But why German-German question is the wrong exmaple
-two countries but ONE NATION and here we have TWO nations with nothing in common
-in East Germany were hal a million Russion soldiers with nuclear weapons
-there was a real WALL between them, OK Serbia should possibly built a fence like Israel is doing, there is no common future
-there was never a JOINT boarder management where both sides could look into the computers etc of the other side, what Belgrade is doing soon (Albanian drug smugglers in joint operation with their brothers from serbia)
-both sides NEVER accepted diplomas from the other side
-both sides NEVER had exchanged information from cathadres
-the property of the West on the Eastern side was never respected
West-Germany was keeping the idea of an existing German nation and state, and East-Germany was also making at the end more and more steps to show the commo German historical heritage
BUT Albanians are making a great noise with all their efforts to show that they had and have nothing in common with the Serbian culture, what is in general true
Both Germans had a common culture, history and language, Kosovo and Serbia not

"Does the plan include a wall to be built and diving Albanians from Serbs?"
(Megadeth, 23 September 2012 22:37)

No, in Kosovo, fences and barbed wire around Serbian churches and monasteries, guarded by KFOR, are sufficient.

German solution can be model for Kosovo and Albania. We are not interested in other stuff.
(Avni, 23 September 2012 17:45)

No one, I repeat nobody cares what stuff you are interested in. I promise you that.
(Ari Gold, 23 September 2012 21:22)

I, for one, do care, so you are wrong. Mate, you make statements in such a way that it is so easy to prove you wrong LOL

“German model can be solution for Kosovo issue”

The german model: East Germany joined West Germany in one single country. Germans joined Germans not Russians. So if you follow the German model the end result should be Kosovo joins Albania.

Franz

Once again Serbia can learn a lot from Germany.

The Kosovo question can only be solved by Serbia, Serbs in Kosovo i Metohija (since their own country's gov't has sold them out) and the Western powers in the occupied province.

Olli

The best solution:

Serbia continues building ties with the EU, step by step, by signing small and large agreements concerning trade, scientific and educational co-operations, cultural exchange and security collaboration. But without begging to be accepted into the EU, without bending to recognition of Kosovo. Serbia let's the EU and the USA continue funding Kosovo.

And one day delegations will arrive to Belgrade to ask what Belgrade wants. And that will be the first day of true negotiations.

Jovan

a german model can be something for Germany. but the serbian model is stipulated in the serbian constitution. KiM is southern serbian territory, sooner or later the Germans will have to accept it.

there is no other way...

Does any body see the difference or is only me? German-German with Serbian-Albanian agreement. Is not Serbian-Serbian agreement. This can be done with RS if you wish.

EA

I agree with Avni....why complicate more e complex issue, Serbia has no choice but to accept formally Kosovo independence then a real peace can be talked. If it doesn't accept it then as MikeC said should look to "mother Russia".

Who are the 'we' who are not interested? What is the 'other stuff'? Strange comments. Anyone who's paid attention knows that Kosovo gained it's so-called independence via NATO's bombing a sovereign country that it knew could be manhandled. At that time, in 1999, NATO re-invented itself and it's first victim was Serbia. Now, in 2012, the vultures are descending, i.e. Madeleine Albright, Wesley Clark, etc., wanting to grab up the spoils. How does anything about this compare to Germany?
