The US is BROKE, but democratically and that’s what they are telling their people :”we will be back on top in ten years”- they started that one in 2005 and they are now in bigger crap than ever in history.

Of course, but meanwhile we have to deal first with this http://www.b92.net/eng/news/politics-article.php?yyyy=2012&mm=09&dd=21&nav_id=82292. Whether the US is broke or not does not feed the Serbian children who have only one meal per day http://www.b92.net/eng/news/society-article.php?yyyy=2012&mm=07&dd=21&nav_id=81391

For the Albos don’t take heart in any of this as it all BS of the highest order. The US is BROKE, but democratically and that’s what they are telling their people :”we will be back on top in ten years”- they started that one in 2005 and they are now in bigger crap than ever in history.

If the US is broke, what does that make Serbia? Us still has AAA+ credit rating, Serbia has to dig in the sewer to look for its credit rating.

At least the US is broke democratically, every Serb politician has been yelling "we will not go bankrupt" for the last 6 months, and surprise surprise you are now going broke!!

The US can carry a huge debt/deficit because people want to do business with the US, Serbia has to give huge incentives to have anyone do business with them. And even then they are skeptical.

As we have already seen in Berlin, there were frank and direct exchange of views. Now why would Belgrade behave differently with Washington. It's called consistency folks.

As witnessed at the podiums, wonder what reality behind closed doors actually was?

I read it as Serbia is expecting the US to stop being one-sided, giving the albanians a free reign and instead do something useful. If anything, it is a warning that Belgrade won't stay silent if the US comes out with its usual BS and expects Belgrade to say 'Thank You' and make anodyne comments to the media afterwards. As we have already seen in Berlin, there were frank and direct exchange of views. Now why would Belgrade behave differently with Washington. It's called consistency folks.

Trust the U.S.A? Just like trusting croats, germany, albanians, the EU?Are you out of your freakin minds?I'm sure you will have the {popes}blessing as well!
(Pete K., 20 September 2012 13:50)

I wouldn’t take too much notice of this as it’s diplomatic BS. They all have to say they love one another and it’s all cuddly and warm.

The reality is that the people who are in power in Belgrade would not trust the US as far as they could throw it.

Sorry, he wasn't cleared of all charges - he was given a year in jail for stealing a leather jacket that the court valued at about $10 and a pair of gloves (about 50 cents). People: somebody died in that fire. And they couldn't find any evidence?

Serbian hospitality is well known to everyone. New American ambassador is welcome. I hope he will work to deepen the good relations between Serbia and the United States.

Um, the day when the only person tried for attempting to burn down the U.S. embassy was found innocent of all charges was probably not the best day to ask the U.S. for a favor.

We also hope that our new ambassador to help solve the Kosovo issue in the best way that will go on our hands and the people who live there

Is he retarded? If it wasn't for the US there wouldn't be an issue surrounding Kosovo, they are the ones who severed it from Serbia. If this is the way Dacic thinks then Serbia is screwed.
