whilst i applaud your attempt at impartiality ecoman, i doubt the sincerity behind it. you still believe K.Albanians went on a collective camping trip in 1999, not that they were expelled by Yugoslav army forces.

Expelled by Yugoslav Army Forces? no doubt a few isolated incidents occurred, but its rather obvious that with 20,000 refugees in the year leading up to the bombing, and then a spike of 780,000 in the first five days of the bombings, that the vast majority of refugees were fleeing Nato bombs, not the VJ

I am all in favor of this. It is time that the families of the loved ones who are missing get some closure. That goes to all the missing from the wars.

Only then can we start the process of reconciliation and finally move on.

Serbs have been unhappy with the 2 investigations conducted by the UN, what sense does it make to insist that it be the UN that does the 3rd?
With Eulex performing under the UN umbrella this is a UN sponsored investigation.
It is not justice people are seeking but to keep it in the headlines.

It could be interpreted (though with some reservations) as evacuation of civilians from the battle fields, I mean battle between YU Army and the KLA.

All these cries for justice, from the families of missing victims in KiM, will go unanswered until the Western powers, namely the USA and Germany, stop dragging or blocking the investigations. The UH is certainly the only body that can carry out a thorough and unbiased probe into these hideous organ-harvestiging allegations. The West insists on themselves being the investigators, but they have personal interests in keeping these alleged crimes from being brought to light. Think how horrible they would look, US and Germany, not to mention France, if the organ-harvesting by the KLA was proven, a terrorist organization they supported, and do to this very day. Is there true justice and democracy in the world, or is justice controlled by the world's powers, to suit themselves? We shall see.

I am certainly that the compassionate Albanian contributors here on B92 will jump up and down with their panties in a knot, screaming about missing Albanian victims of the civil war, and you should. Request that the UN carry out investigations into the missing of all victims. Let your voices be heard, as they usually are, and hopefully action will be taken so that all ethnicities receive equal justice.
