I see the EU is still convincing itself America's failed fiefdom has a bright future after the artificial closing of an institution that had no authority nor any means of implementing reforms. Meaningless milestones seem to be bread and circuses for Kosovo's supporters.

Supervised or unsupervised - it is not independent and not a country.

How do you 'recognise' something that does not exist?

Answer - by wishful thinking.

Serbia's province is under UN protection and will be for a long while yet.

However, all it is is a protectorate - so do hope the protectors don't get bored and fed-up with it.

Achievements? Improvements? Some more of this self-praise which is as far from reality as the moon from the earth. Kosovo is Europe's main drug hub, the most corrupt 'country' in Europe (sharing this honor with Moldova), Kosovo politicians came to power by faked elections, a lot of them have ties to organized crime, about 50% unemployment, dependence on international donor money. The only people who enjoy the life in Kosovo are the mafia groups and state officials who benefit from bribes and abuse of money from the state budget. If Kosovo is a state or not there is discussion, but anyway, it's a failed entity.

Fule's presence in Prishitna yesterday, during the ceremony of ending of the supervision period of Kosova's independence, is until now the clearest and strongest message of Kosova's EU future as fully fledge member of EU.

As consolation the Serbian chetnick-Presdient Nikolic will be received by the polar bear, pardon, President Puntin who will bail out Serbian bankrupt state with 1bn€ of favorable loan.

One is heading west the other east... good luck to both of them.
