President, Russian official on economic cooperation
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić told visiting Russian Deputy FM Vladimir Titov that he would like to see economic cooperation with Russia even more improved.
Serbian government knows what is the best for Serbia. I know that the cooperation between them and Russia is precious for them and I wish them luck in future negotiations.
But a russian pawn is better than a western pawn. Russian pawns get lots of investments. Remember how they pumped billions of dollars into cuba? Had that money gone to serbia, we would have been quite rich today. In general Russian help does not come with strings attached, whereas anything with the west comes with strings attached and the idea of neocolonialism.

But for Russian, Serbia just small little Balkan pawn.
