HAHA You actually believe that artificial manufactured Kosovo Precedent Theory?

We all know South Sudan only became independent because they got jelous of Kosovo. And Azawad (RIP) was also copying Kosovo despite the fact their leaders had never heard of Serbia, nevermind Kosovo.

I suppose you think that people in Scotland envy Kosovo don't you? Do you really think that some drunk Chav in trackies and a baseball cap on a council estate in Glasgow who favours an independent Scotland has been influenced by Kosovo's independence? Or that some rural farmer from Sutherland who favours Scottish independence has been influenced by Kosovo's independence, despite thinking that Yugoslavia still exists and not having a care in the world for Eastern Europe?

You are adament Wales will become indpendent aren't you?

The UK isn't going to be another Yugoslavia you know. Westminister has given lots of autonomy across the country, not stripping it like Belgrade did. Scotland is the only serious independent movement and the upcoming referendum is to have three options, 1) Remain the same, 2) Fully self governing, 3) Independence. So don't get your hopes up.

And there is no chance in hell that Northern Ireland will become independent, it'll either remain in the UK or reunite with the Republic.

I know you want Scotland, Wales ect to want independence. But that won't happen unless they actually want it.

Yep, enlargement will continue as the "Kosova"* precedent starts kicking in. We will have new members - Scotland, Wales, perhaps Northern Ireland and even Catalonia.

It looks like the secessionist movements are gathering steam in Europe and around the world. Hey, even Quebec just voted in a secessionist leader.

It is time the evil Euro-Atlantic empire destroys itself. Cycles repeating.

Paaleeeeease! The EU is still thinking of expanding, and including more down and out, totally bankrupt, corrupt backwater countries? This is such obvious political nonsense, that it could not be clearer. Besides playing the West against the east game, what possible benefit could the EU have from admitting a nation like Serbia into its fold? They are seeking to eliminate more powerful nations, in size and economy, and they would want Serbia? Brussels is a joke at times, really.

He stressed that the EU accession negotiations with Turkey had “practically stalled”.
"I admit that negotiations (with Turkey) on enlargement have practically stalled" over the Cyprus issue, Van Rompuy told ambassadors meeting in Brussels.

Turkey should never been a candidate since it still occupies 40% of a sovereign country, member of the UN, and EU, and is still refusing to allow the lawful inhabitants to return to their homes which are at present occupied by 300000+ Muslim settlers from Anatolia. Also the fact that Turkey still refuses to recognise the Armenian and Greek genocides and the rights of 20 Million Kurds renders the EU principles of human rights as laughable.

The EU will not be around for a long time-at least not in its present form. However Turkey will never be accepted as a member since its admittance would be tantamount to EU cultural suicide.
