Serbian you say.......what of the Donau Schwaben from whom everything was confiscated after they created the breadbasket of the Balkens. Must be due to their collective guilt. So now its all yours. Oh, and thank the allies for breaking up Hungary. You win,you think.

That is the price for invading a country (Serbia) that never had to do anything with Germany,killing half a million of its citizens and for the Vojvodina Germans to massively take part in it!

BTW Germans didnt turn it into a breadbasket,Serbs did!

@Bob, why should the owners have to pay to removal of graffiti? They didn't do it and if the graffiti keeps repeating do they have to keep paying for the removal of it?
How about the police do their work and arrest those responsible and make them clean up their own mess and if they cannot identify how much is their own mess, make the clean it up anyway. Next time they won't be making any mess.
Anyone caught should automatically clean up any graffiti that is there. I am sure more than one people can be caught. If that fails, then jail them for a time being.

And where is Vojvodina supposed to go?
Srem =85% Serbian
Banat=75% Serbian
Backa=55% Serbian ad 21% Hungarian
that was in 2002..
Now Hungary is in EU, Romania also and from next year Croatia too! yeah.
That means those people will surly want to move to those countries right?
And that means again the % of Serbs will rise :)
So the place for Vojvodina is being part of the Republic Serbia.
and nowhere else..

We can see who is responsible for writting those graffits. "Long live Pavličić"... Told enough! I just think that's not the way of solving problems. If people wants new government, they should leave on their own.

"Serbs get out of Vojvodina"??? That's like saying Americans get out of America! Regardless, you can tell that it must have been a hooligan who doesn't even know what planet he's on.

Vojvodina is Serbian, it isn't going anywhere. I can't imagine where such separatism is coming from, perhaps its Hungarian nationalists inspiring such attitudes, but they can be rest assured that Vojvodina isn't leaving Serbian borders. Kosovo is indeed the cradle of the Serbian nation, but ethnic cleansing of Serbs has made it a hard battle when NATO came along, but with Vojvodina the majority of the population is Serbian and even many minorities wish to remain in Serbia. Any scenaria of Vojvodina leaving Serbia has no basis and ought to be ignored.

Graffiti removal is now an established industry. There is equipment and training methodology available, and there are preventative measures that can be taken to reduce the number of occurances.

The way to deal with graffiti is for it to be removed immediately.

In the case of public buildings this has to be done at public expense. In the case of private buildings the authorities should require the removal of the graffiti within 7 days at the expense of the owners, and in the event of it not being removed, the authorities should do it themselves and bill the owners for the service.

Belgrade is in a disgusting state - the authorities need to be heavily proactive in dealing with this.
