It's not only enclaves, everywhere in Kosova people suffer from water cuts.
It is a general problem people! Why do you always relate issues with politics????

You're human, not a leech. Pay up or STFU.

thinking that why should humans pay anything to leeches and kleptoparasites as KiM non-natives are, except for contempt...

The problem is that they never paid any bills, and think they can get all the utilities for free, because they do not recognize the Kosovo State athority. This would happen in any country. If you don't pay your water or electic bill, it simply gets turned off. No rason to get into a hissy fit over it, just normal, even in Serbia.

"The Kosovo Albanian authorities in Priština told the agency earlier that they decided to cut the water supply to the educational institutions due to "unpaid bills".

However, Maksimović dismissed this explanation, saying that the move represented "new pressure by the Kosovo authorities" aimed against Serb schools which work according to the Serbian curriculum, and added that the schools in question had not been sent the bills on time."

Well, everything has been clarified then. Maksimović is confirming that the schools have not paid the bills yet and let's assume that was because they received the bills late.

But they have the bills now so they just need to pay the bills and the water will return as soon as they do so. Not sure there is any earth-shattering news here... all parties involved are agreeing that the bills are still outstanding.

Seems like a sure fire way for the Albanian majority government to excercise a program that ensures a continuation of distrust. Now at an early age these children are witnessing such inhuman behavior from a government that actually claims it self to be western, democratic and non-racists.
Denying basic services to schools and hospitals due to $, where as a civilized nation actually covers said costs through a tax payer pool system. I suppose there is a catch-22 there while unemployment is atmospheric and collected taxes are minuscule as a result, but international welfare is certainly enough to have been doled out to those who need it, and not wasted on palatial meals, fancy trips and just plain-olde enriching the rich.

Well if they all bring extra water to class and the staff brings in a large water cooler and some extra buckets of water in the bathroom, I think they could get by. Toilets will flush if you pour a bucket of water in them.

They could also go to half-day schedule.

As for the water bills, is there documentation of how much has been used and are there receipts when they are paid? And is the info accurate regarding amount used - or is the ethnic Albanian run companies adding phantom use to the bills/claims? I wouldn't think much water is used at all doing the months when school isn't in session.

for far too long Serb so called institutions have not paid utility bills. you know why? because they apparently do not recognize those who bill them (though they still think its apt to use their services) pay up or put up
