Anony, even in the beginning of the war it was not so. In the beginning of the war we did not have control everywhere. During 1992 we managed to bring much of eastern R.S. under our control. Don't forget, the bosniaks started arming themselves early on.

Ivan, as far as I know we had about 65%. That's more like the figures that I recall. If someone has 75%, I'd really like to see that sourced/cited somewhere.

ZZ, I am not even sure what you are trying to even say??? The start seems to accuse me of saying that I am from the west, and then it seems to weer off into god knows what. You're having some trouble expressing opinions I think. But I'll tell you this, I know very well much about the west, especially the US and Canada.

Renko, that is interesting that you propose. Because you know what, many places in eastern R.S. were islamified after ww2. Take for example the census data, we were the majority in the srebrenica-bratunac area. The best thing about all of this is that the bosniaks recognized republika srpska. So yaaayyy. Yaay! It's not going away, and we serbs are very happy because of that.

"All in all, I think that this is just speculation. Quazi statelet before, quazistatelet today, quazistatelet tomorrow... and republika srpska as beautiful and intact as always. Which leads me to say this... if there will be any sort of changes in the federation, they could start by making a serbian entity out of drvar, petrovac, grahovo and glamoc. that would be a start. Heck, maybe even kupres too.
(Lazar, 3 September 2012 22:25)

Excellent idea. At the same time, Eastern Bosnia from Bratunac to Foca can be returned to the former majority group.
Of course, it would be better if all confessions could live where they used to, but few politicians would want that...or would they?

4) You remind of a mentally troubled person called Nikola. If you are him, then I have a message for you and the other ultra-angry serbs abroad... a, learn our language, and b - it is very easy to be a nationalist when you are NOT IN Serbia and the former yugoslavia. Just some stuff for you to think about ya know.

Lazar, you are often an interesting read and at times make valid points, but not on this matter. By your own logic, what basis do you have to make such far reaching comments on areas that you don't reside in and therefore know nothing about. I'd bet my left nut that you have no shortage of opinions on the west and pretend to know all it's mechanizations and shortcomings. The north, south and east must not be far behind either. Ari has every right to make his argument. His vantage point is valuable to the discussion and since your adversary is of the "western" mind, even more so. Unless of course you would like to teach him about his neighbourhood too. Here's a fact, you guys there shit the bed large and have been paying the price for twenty years now. A little less arrogance and a bit more listening might have helped.

"What do you mean that we controlled 75% of the country? That sounds unusually large. It's quite troubling to go around throwing numbers like that."

Lazar:

If I remember correctly, during the 90's war, the Serbs stretched themselves very thin, but we did control almost everything. If the evil empire did not interfere, both B&H and Krajna would be ours.

To majorize? In mathematics, majorization is a partial order on vectors of real numbers. For a vector , we denote by the vector with the same components, but sorted in decreasing order.

CG not to split hairs but its really uneducated when somebody makes up a word that doesn't exist. A majority is not a verb (to majorize), it is a noun there is no such thing as majorize in the context you were suggesting.

If English is your first language, use it correctly.

Lazar, I think he is referring to early gains made in the war, which were substantial but temporary due to the withdrawing JNA leaving their heavy equipment to the RS.

“This will happen "on the initiative of the U.S. administration", claims a report published by Večernji List.”
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Yep that will happen once the US reduces it debt and then returns to the South China Sea and gains control over South America and goes back to re-win the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and reduce their unemployment down to 2% so the list goes on and on. There is an old Serbian saying “Pricaj usta da nebudnu pusta” basically it means flapping your gums. If they couldn’t do this when the times were good how are they going to do this now? Perhaps when the US prints the new “stimulus money” they will run a few sheets more for Bosnia.
"there are no concrete suggestions made by the author of the initiative", but the report suggests that there is a "guiding framework" in place at this time. This is the nub of it all – guiding framework - in other words they have no idea.

Ari gold, you are so full of shit that you can barely walk. I mean come on man, you always sound like an angry blind nationalist that is always full of crap. Knock it off you hate full dude who gives serbs and friends of serbs a bad name.

Here are some tips...

1) Realize that the Bosnia and Herzegovina is exactly what the US and Europe want it to be - a colony that is basically miserable. Now yeah, they would want it to be something more, but this is the general framework where they wanted the country/colony to be.

2) What do you mean that we controlled 75% of the country? That sounds unusually large. It's quite troubling to go around throwing numbers like that.

3) The US and EU expect that R.S. , or western serbia as you call it, remains fully within B&H. I do not want that, but that is what the EU and US want. There is nothing to suggest that they would like to see R.S. break off, quite the contrary. You ignore that they want restructuring of the federation so that they will be able to better preserve B&H. Look at it that way. In other words, we should hope that there will be no restructuring in the federation, so that our enemies will be worse off. :P

4) You remind of a mentally troubled person called Nikola. If you are him, then I have a message for you and the other ultra-angry serbs abroad... a, learn our language, and b - it is very easy to be a nationalist when you are NOT IN Serbia and the former yugoslavia. New canton borders must also include serbian-occupied Bosnia.
Then, return of Bosniaks to homes in East Bosnia.
Especially, new Bosniak cantons for Kozarac-Prijedor, Bratunac-Srebrenica-Zepa, Visegrad-Gorazde-Foca.
(Adem, 3 September 2012 18:38)

Muslims had their chance to return, they didnt!

Unlike Serbs who returned to B.Petrovac,B.Grahovo,Drvar,Glamoc and Kupres municipality where they now again form 90% of the population!
Dodik should make clear that these Serbs must get their canton inside FBiH,otherwise RS should bloc this agreement!
Croats complain about being majorized by Bosniaks, but where they are the majority they majorize and discriminate against Serbs like in Kanton 10!

Lazar

pre 11 godina

Well, they won't be touching R.S., and it's every so obvious that the federation is a disaster. This is yet more evidence that it is a disaster. But I do not think that anyone will be able to agree on how to make it better there. There is no way that the croat position can get better and to have the bosniak position get better. The ideal thing would be a third croat entity, but bosniaks of course do not like that.

All in all, I think that this is just speculation. Quazi statelet before, quazistatelet today, quazistatelet tomorrow... and republika srpska as beautiful and intact as always. You as an albanian should be concerned about returning all those serbs, roma, montenegrins, croats, bosnians etc kicked out of Kosovo by albanians. You stick your nose everywhere you shouldn't. You need to get a life outside the pizza parlor.

Ron

Well, ultimately this is up to the Croats and Muslims (and all others) in Federation to deceide.

But one question. Why this:

* Bosniaks (Muslims) should have their dominant position within the entity "confirmed in a certain manner". *

I thought Bosnia was a multi-ethnic, post-nationalistic state. If so then why 'dominant positioin' for one group? Why not forget about Muslims and Croats and become one happy Federation?

Ari Gold

pre 11 godina

Excellent. Then that means Republika Srpska will be the largest entity in the country. It's not perfect (Serbs controlled 75% of BiH at one point before Western interference much like most of the ex-Yu) but we all have to make compromises.

And Western Serbia (RS) is that compromise. Cheers to the United States for realizing too much money was thrown away in Bosnia and its time to take a new approach in the Balkans that is not aimed at keeping down the overwhelming majority of ex Yugoslavia. Its too expensive of an option.
