I understand your concern for the well being of Kosovo, but don’t worry. Thanks to Vuk, there is now legal clarity that everything done in accordance with Kosovo’s Declaration of Independence will be in accordance with international law.
(icj1, 2 September 2012 20:57)

No there is no legal clarity at all. The court only said that the act of declaration was not illegal – they never said that Kosovo was independent. But go back to the International Court and seek that final decision, that if your lot dares – the US would shoot any of yours that comes even near that institution.
You are obviously no lawyer nor an economist nor involved in finance. I’m curious to know what level of education do you have? because some of your statements are banal to say the least.

It is obvious that you live off social security and people like you think that money is picked from a money tree and there is no end to it. Oh your great ally the US is about to introduce more stimulus to the economy – printing presses are being warmed. It’s amazing that only the countries that practice freedom and democracy can print money without any affects. Yes the US is well on its way to hitting the magic target number of 17 trillion by Christmas 2012. Go out and buy a calculator and work out the debt to GDP and then add another 120 trillion plus of unfunded liability, but I’m getting ahead of myself here as I am assuming you can even use a calculator.
Yes both Russia and China bought Euro bonds, but Merkel this time wanted the Chinese government to inject money direct in the EU economy. The Chinese said no as there were no guarantees – they were happy to buy bonds but nothing else.
You constantly talk about the economic crises in Serbia. Yes there is a crises, but that has now spread to the EU and even the Germans have caught the disease as their production figures have been going down since May this year and technically Germany is now also in a recession. Then there is the UK – it has gone to the IMF twice in the last 12 months for loans to stop it from collapsing, but hey why would they write such gloomy stuff to frighten the Albanians.

Kosovo is a stalemate at best. And there is nothing in the foreseeable future that will change that position. No one can even put a shovel in Kosovo as its disputed land. If there are any big Corporations that might go into Kosovo for a project they dare not as they will sued and that is why they are not setting foot there.

Kosovo is a delusion that the Albanians are paying for now and will continue to do so as conditions get tougher and tougher.

Yeah, conditions are getting tougher and tougher in Serbia according to the “Economic crisis in Serbia” section on the right of this page.

Hey, EU countries will not close their hospitals and schools etc so they can fund Pristina
(sj, 2 September 2012 12:15)

Of course… nobody (EU, US, China or Russia) will close their hospitals and schools so they can fund insignificant things for them like Serbia or Kosovo.

Brussels has its hands full with the economic crises of today and Angel Merkel’s trip to China flopped magnificently as she asked for Beijing’s financial help, but the Chinese said NO.
(sj, 2 September 2012 12:15)

Makes sense… Even though somebody with the nickname of sj in these forums disagrees by saying that “the Chinese are coming to the EU’s rescue” and that “EU borrowed more money from China just recently and both the Chinese and Russians have bought Euro bonds to stave off economic upheaval”. I think that sj needs to learn more from this sj here who is the CE of the B92 forums :)

It only proves that, in contrast to some silly nationalists in ex-YU', they have a more realistic view from outside and know that 'Croatian 'Serbian' and 'Bosnian' is basically the same language and variations are like dialects. Every linguist in the world will tell you the same. Believe it or not, Austria joined the EU without having the 'Austrian' language.

Here is the only solution that will work for Kosovo-it is the division of Kosovo. The appropriatte north gos to Serbia-the south to the Albanians-to do with it as they wish. Many Kosovo Albanian and Serbian hardliners will be opposed to it-but as we know, when it is expedient, the feelings of the local balkanites can be swept aside easily by the empire. The people who oppose the divisdion of Kosovo the most are the masters and the ministers of the Euro reich. How dare the local people change the world view and the dogmas of the superior men from the north-the men in Brussels make the rules and the local population dare not deviate.

The divison of Kosovo will bring peace and an end to a dark chapter in our history. To the masters in the reich it will bring distress-but the time must come when we have to tell the men and woman of the empire to go f*** off. THIS IS OUR LAND-stop interferring and let us and all the nations of the world solve our own problems-afterall, were it not for the safe santuary of the distant north and the protection of the north sea-you great men of the north would be going thorugh what we are-the sea saved england-a dozen barrier nations in the south saved the reich-serbia saves itself.

The EU is going to insist that Serbia give up Kosovo in all but name. Serbia was antagonistic under Milosevic and politically inept. The penalty for that will be that Kosovo will not ever be allowed to return to Serbia and Serbia will never be allowed to do much about it. That has been decided by international politicians; they are powerful enough to enforce it, and they will never change their minds.

All that is left is a gradual process of having to accept the unacceptable. Despite earlier noises from Nikolic, Vucic, etc., nothing will be done to ignore the orders of the US and the EU - the penalties have been spelt out, and all Serb politicians who achieve a position within government will have the consequences and the required behaviours explained in the form of a threat. "An offer they can't refuse".

Conformity is the only thing available to them.

Posters on this site will continue to whinge, but the fundamentals of Kosovo will not change.

Serbia is locked into its straight jacket and all it can do is wiggle.

Let me add a few important current events in regards to Germany and the EU which may shed some light on the true asspirations of that country. The old NAZI ideology is rising up again with a fury throughout much of Germany, esspecially the east, and the authorities are taking a deliberetly weak approach to it(check out the facts for yourselves). Just like in Germanies sattelite nation of Croatia, the swastika and the heil hitler salute are no longer done in the shadows-they are fully accepted and even quietly respected. Recently a number of Germen misinisters in the EU have put forth a proposition that the Serbian language will not be accepted as the official language of Serbia if and when it ever enters the union. The German rulers of the EU propose that all the former states of Yugoslavia accept the Yugoslav language as thier official language. What this proves is the eternal arrogance of the Germasn nation whenever it attains any level of politicol, economic or military superiority.

The people in Serbia live under a few dangerous dellusions. The first is that by joining a weak EU its economic problems will be solved. The second is that by recognizing Kosovo, its entry into the union will be assured-far from it. Serbia must more than recognize Kosovo, it must normalize relations with the Kosovo Albanians in accords with Germanies demands. That would not only be fatal for the Serb community in Kosovo-it would be a great degredation of Serbias character and would weaken it further-opening it up to more humiliation and never ending demands. After the Serbs have grudgingly recognized Kosovo-other hurdles will be placed in front of it-the carrot will remain dangling on a never shortening stick.

The only solution for the Serbs is to end the lies and propoganda put forth by the Eurofanatics in Serbia. Unfortunatly the nation that dominates the EU is Germany and Germany will never be a friend nor partner to the Serbs. Even those few Germans who are not completly hostile to Serbia historicly, dont want another economic basket case to enter the union-another greece.

The only way that Serbia becomes of value to the German dominated EU is if Serbia becomes a thorn in its side-Hostility to the Germans is an asset-subservience to the economic master race is DOOM! Death to the EU and long live Serbia!

DSS will take at least 15% in the next election, over 20% if the Progressives really sh*t the bed. Unfortunately, it might be too late for K&M if the Progressives actually do sell out. Not predicting they will, but the conspiracy freak in me knows only Nixon could go to China and only a Radical can recognize Kalbania.

Is anyone surprised that DSS are exasperated? I mean, what could an SNS-SPS coalition be expected to accomplish? They're a bunch of amateurs! Unfortunately for the citizens of Serbia, this is probably just the tip of the ice berg. Wait until Serbia actually starts having to focus on real world problems, like economic depression, environmental catastrophe and antiquated infrastructure. The drought and wildfires hitting the region very hard this summer are a bad omen, me thinks. But hey, look on the bright side. In another four years -- maybe less -- Dacic and Vucic will have hardly anyone voting for them and you'll get to see someone else in power. Not sure DSS or DS would be able to deliver much either, but either would probably come as a welcome change by that point. The problem in Serbian politics is that you pretty much have duds anywhere you look. However, the guys on top now are truly the bottom of the barrel.

P.S. CE = Chief Economist

I understand your concern for the well being of Kosovo, but don’t worry. Thanks to Vuk, there is now legal clarity that everything done in accordance with Kosovo’s Declaration of Independence will be in accordance with international law.
