Non-Aligned summit starts in Tehran

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has addressed the Non-Aligned Summit in Tehran and urged the creation of "a new world order".

The Non-Alligned Movement is a joke, it isn't what it claims to be.

How can you have nations like Belarus which is blatantly aligned with Russia, North Korea which is blatantly aligned with China and Qatar which is blatantly aligned with the US/ EU.

Many NAM countries are alligned with the West (US and EU) and many are aligned with the East (Russia and China). And this has always been the case, ever since it was formed in 1961. Just look at Ethiopia which used to be a Soviet puppet state yet it was a NAM member. Or Cuba during the Cold War!
