So Germany is selling Greece to China?

I bet Germany will be glad to get that burden of their back.

No the Germans are begging the Chinese to help the EU with further loans. Lets get this right here and now, the Chiense are no fools and they do not do things unless its to their advantage.
I would not get too comfy over Greece because the UK is in deep deep trouble itself.

There is no doubt that Greece is in crisis but the country you live doesn't fare better. The £ 850 billion UK spent on bank bailouts and the £375 billion on Q/Es/money printing are still sitting on the "suspense account" and they will stay there because any attempt to add them onto National debt will reduce its rating substantially.

With the country now in full recession and the temporary euphoria from the Olympics evaporating expect a lot more of QEs and more unemployment and more cuts on the welfare state.Welcome to the real world.

" Resolving problems of European debt" is translated pleading with the Chinese to contribute to ESF begging bowl because all countries within the EU (including Germany)are simply bust. The theory goes that if the Chinese are persuaded to make a sizeable contribution towards the ESF then a message will be sent to the markets that EU will be determined to defend the euroland at any cost.

The Chinese,on the other hand, know the "end-game"is in sight for the Euroland with the centre of the crisis moving from Spain and Italy into France and one cannot fix the problem by piling up more debt onto existing debt levels. For example Spain just added another ten percentage points onto its national debt by borrowing 100 billion euros to rescue its banks(only a fraction of its total re-capitalisation requirements).

The EU is on a one way ticket to collapse and disintegration. No political entity can survive without a popular mandate and EU is not an exception.
