He told Tanjug he would talk to "everyone who recognizes the Serbia Constitution and follows UN Security Council Resolution 1244,"
Serbian elected officials in the north were not elected in line with resolution 1244 and the local elections in the northern Kosovo were not organized by the Serbian government in the latest election. So by that statement, you shouldn’t even meet the officials from the north…

Mitrovica, 11:53 - FIGHT broke out between Serbs. Information from the field suggest that the split between Serbs deepened significantly as recent developments in the north.
information suggest that directly threatened Stefanovic, Bogdanovic and four heads of the so-called Serb municipalities in the north, from the chief of the crime, as Zvonko Veseloviq.
Veseloviq said that if they arrested this and other leaders of organized crime in the north, it will disclose facts which call for border combustion, creating barricades, their funding and mobilization in the North,Involving Borko Stefanovic, Goran Bogdanovic and other Serbian leaders, organized hooligans are called to burning, mobilize and organize all the unrest in the North.
It seems that Belgrade has sent a clear message last night that the Serbs have no other choice and that leaders have alleged crime "Belgrade to calm the situation and to put in place all what they destroy in the north."

UNSCR 1244 applied from 10 June 1999 onwards as it was a conclusion to the Kosovo War, obviously it can't rewrite history and doesn't refer to the past; it was meant to be a pathway for future long term peace.

UNSCR 1244 in 1999 said that Kosovo was to be apart of Yugoslavia for the INDEFINITE FUTURE aka not a permanent guarantee, whilst Kosovo's final status is decided. UNSCR 1244 said that Kosovo's final status must be mutually agreed by both parties. The government established in Pristina per UNSCR 1244 tried and tried to discuss and negotiate the final status of Kosovo and Belgrade did not care at all and just ignored the government in Pristina. Belgrade did not want to discuss the final status of Kosovo and was just happy with the then status quo. Anyway along comes 8 November 2006 and the National Assembly of Serbia unveils the Constitution of Serbia. The Constitution of Serbia states that it "defines the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija as the integral part of Serbia", meaning that Serbia violated UNSCR 1244 in November 2006 as Belgrade unilaterally finalised Kosovo's status without giving anyone in Kosovo a say. The referendum on adopting the Serbian Constitution was not even carried out in Kosovo. The people of Kosovo and the authorities in Kosovo had no say over Kosovo's final status per the 2006 Serbian Constitution, it was not mutually agreed by both parties which UNSCR 1244 clearly states the case must be.

The 1974 Serbian constitution, adopted at the same time, reiterated that "the Socialist Republic of Serbia comprises the Socialist Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Socialist Autonomous Province of Kosovo, which originated in the common struggle of nations and nationalities of Yugoslavia in the National Liberation War [the Second World War] and socialist revolution.

Therefore Serbia's constitution under Yugoslavia, reiterated that Kosovo was an integral part, and that was breached already. They then tried to implement the UN to overlook the territory, and we see what is happening as a result to that.

So therefore, no need to bring up Serbia violating anything, when its own constituion was breached and violated initially.

It's funny how Serbia ignores Serbs who recognize Kosovo institutions. This shows that Serbia is not interested about Serbs but something else.

Bit hard considering that Serbia's 2006 Constitution doesn't follow UNSCR 1244, as Serbia's 2006 constitution was a unilateral attempt at finalising Kosovo's status and thus in breach of UNSCR 1244 as the Kosovo assembly didn't get a say; not to mention the referedndum on adopting the constitution was not ever carried out in Kosovo.
