Ari, many people disagree with you. I for example do not want to see Serbia as an EU colony.

I am very glad with this news article. It's nice. I mean, it's not a whole lot of concrete stuff, but just the talk of stuff like this is nice. I am glad to see better relations with non-EU countries. Belarus is a no brainer for countries that we should have great ties with, meaning that this is long overdue. But there are others too. :) One at a time...

Joining the Eurasian Union is Serbia's and Serbs only chance of survival both culturally and economically. Without the Eurasian Union, Serbia would be constantly provoked into conflict by its neighbors. Without membership, Serbia's Byzanto-Orthodox culture will be (already is) in constant threat of extinction due to radical Islam and economically will miss out on huge opportunities to chase an EU pipe-dream that will probably not be around by the time Serbia would be allowed to join it.

Serbia needs to lead its neighbors, FYR Macedonia & Montenegro (after regime change of course) into a Balkan section of the Eurasian Union. Entrance by Republika Srpska as well goes without saying.

Its a matter of survival as a nation and not becoming like the Chaldean's a people without a nation-state.
