You mean that you need to be hit on the head to believe that such action causes pain? The US has not just been embarrassed by Wiki leaks, but has been shown to be a war criminal and they want to make an example of Assange otherwise why not have Obama categorically deny that they will extradite him from Sweden.

It’s a simple statement from Obama saying “we will not extradite Assange. He is free to go anywhere he wishes”. Do you think for a moment that this is a real rape case? Yeah that would be right. Why not have the Swedish police interview him in the UK?

The former hacker is wanted in Sweden in connection with allegations of rape and sexual assault, which he denies. He’s been locked in a legal battle to avoid extradition to Stockholm.

Once Assange is in Sweden, there’ll be plenty of ‘serious’ evidence manufactured by the boys in Langley for Washington to start rendition proceedings. We’re talking about a terrorist state that topples democratically elected governments and illegally invades sovereign countries in the name of democracy and human rights.Let’s not forget that Sweden has been previously accused for being complicit in the illegal rendition and torture of people the terror state doesn’t like.
One only has to look at the last 10 years of rendition, black sites, torture and secret kill lists to see why.Latin America now leads the world in human rights.

"I watched the great “international” condemnation of Russia over the 2 year sentence give to the rock band, but not a peep about what is happening with Assnage. "

What is happening to Assange? Well, he is requested to come to Sweden for being questioned in a rape case (rape has a very special definition in Sweden, as far as I know). He's not even accused, and there's no arrest warrant. Nor is he accused by a judge from he USA. He refuses to go to Sweden because he fears to be extradited to the USA from there.
Realistically seen, it's all more or less unfounded, speculations and fears sparked by Assange himself.

What happened to all that talk about freedom of speech and a free press? Is that group called the Nobel Prize Committee going to ask Obama to return the prize because he has done nothing?
I watched the great “international” condemnation of Russia over the 2 year sentence give to the rock band, but not a peep about what is happening with Assnage. They claim Ecquador is a country which locks up its journalist and yet grants asylum to Assange, but how could they make such a claim when the west itself no longer believes in free speech and wants to lock up any who exposed the US.
If I was living in the US or UK I’d be very worried because this type government leads to total dictatorships and they are not too far away from that.
