“No decrease of public sector salaries, pensions”

The problem of low funds in the budget can be solved without a nominal reduction of public sector wages and pensions, Fiscal Council’s Nikola Altiparmakov says.

So the cowardly government doesn't want to tackle waste in the public sector and too many managers sitting around doing nothing and getting paid too much. And it doesn't want to touch pensions, which are hitting the public budget hard. It doesn't even want to consider a plan on reducing pension rates for the richest pensioners for example?

I am the last one to advocate some heartless neo-liberal measures that would leave Serbian society damaged, but these fools have to do something. Unless they plan to raise VAT over and above any sensible level and to take high interest loans from abroad...

Sure, screw everyone else of their cash so you leeches can have a 'secure' job your kids can siphon from later on too.

Damn communist and their parasitic ways everywhere in this world, especially the ignorant ones who think that they are doing the 'right thing' by getting fed with blood money from citizens that are FORCED to pay their taxes or face the guns from police and military.

Say no to slavery, say no to 'public sector'.
