@Hank the Tank 10 children per family will soon lead to a majority popultaion. Some cities in Europe soon have a muslim majority. Does that mean those cities are theirs?

Yes it does..You try to kick the muslims out of area's where they form a majority. The muslims will win the battle not by Jihad but by over populating area's that were once anglo-saxon. The Koran does not allow for contraception. Every 6th person on this planet is a Muslim. The Southern Serbian region will have a major population explosion of muslims in the next 20 years. Eventually Serbia itself will have more mosques then chuches. Mark my words Kosovo wont be your only problem !

"We are talking about Kosova little buddy, where 95% of the population is Albanian, & where we Albanians have legally owned this 95% of land that makes up Kosova! "
(Rocky, 19 August 2012 17:39)

Yeah, 95% is 'legally owned'. And for the rest, it's 'legally usurped'. We don't mention the land legally owned by the Serbian Orthodox church.

Some 100,000s (must be more than 10%) of the population was expelled.
And for the 5% not 'legally owned', it's usurped? If the legal Serb owners appear, they are attacked or killed. What a perfect world this is, this 'Kosova'

You own! Every single city, river and mountain in Kosovo have a Serbian name. How then is Kosovo albanian? Because of over popultaions? 10 children per family will soon lead to a majority popultaion. Some cities in Europe soon have a muslim majority. Does that mean those cities are theirs?

So we have this clear: provinces/regions cannot join EU. OK. Fine.
Of course this also applies to Kosovo. A province of Serbia!

Peace to all!

(Duplicity, 19 August 2012 04:38)

We are talking about Kosova little buddy, where 95% of the population is Albanian, & where we Albanians have legally owned this 95% of land that makes up Kosova! My family alone in our village owns over 20 hectares, actually a small amount compared to other family's. All this land, which is all documented with yugoslavian documentation! Why would we have, Yugoslavian documentation if we were not the legal owners of this land that makes up Kosova? Now as the legal owners of this sacred land of ours why in hell would we move to Albania? Albania is not home to the kosovars, Kosova is home of the kosovars! The 3-5% Serbs that currently reside in Kosova, & would still like to reside there must abide by kosovar laws, it's plain & simple, black & white!

Catherine Ashton is hardly acting as Nostradamus in saying that BiH can only enter the EU as one country; she is merely stating a legal fact. Clearly what Dodik would like is for BiH and the RS to be two separate countries so what she said misses the point. As for Kosovo, which wasn't part of her speech but seems to crop up irrespective of the discussion being had on this site, I am sure that given the choice between independence outside the EU or membership as part of Serbia they would choose the former. At present the choice is not theirs to make as five member states do not recognise their independence so once again it is a moot point.

Greece, Romania and Bulgaria corruption is just as rampant there as ever and people and throwing themselves off buildings because they cannot stand their problems in the EU.

A great argument. "You are a horrible organization because you cannot make me a better person!"
Of course if you are relying on that for Serbia, joining is not going to help Serbia either, just like Bosnia. Corruption has to be ended inside a state itself, not from the outside. More blaiming everyone else!

Well mr Balboa too bad your islamic countrymen don't treat all other people the way they treat a fellow albanian. It is a fact that albanians in Kosovo have expelled almost all minorities there. Thanks to KFOR some have remainded. Say what ever you want about serbs but there is no place in the Balkans with such a diversity of people like in Serbia. So, no candy for you.

It is actually not that difficult to understand. BiH is a country recognized by all EU members. They can and will demand that. Kosovo on the other hand is recognized by the huge majority of EU member, while a small part continues to refuse. That means that there can't be unanimous statement, at least from EU's point of view.

Bravo rocky, I can only second your comment and what you say about the Kosovars. Contrary to what some of the 'disturbed' Serb diaspora or Belgrade politicians try to make people believe, Kosovars are very peace loving people with huge hearts. You do not find any street cime like it is portrait here a lot of times, no sign of MAFIA activity, no organ snatchers, and what is most important, not the hate which is displayed by so many of the serb diaspora and nationals especially here. People there just want to live in peace, and not be ruled by Serbia again, which brought so much pain and suffering to their lives. They have a right to that, that no Dragan, eccoman, Peggy, Nicolic, Dadic, or whomever else can deny them. You would never hear the kind of rhetoric like you can read here a lot of times, the calls for war, that we are the greatest, the untouables, the god's chosen country mentality. No matter how often the sick mantra of 'Kosovo is Serbia' is repeated, it will never happen again.

Serbs politicians just don't get it! Serbia must be thinking that because there are a majority of Muslims in Bosnia that the west will allow you to carve it up the way you choose? How about Croatia?, they were majority Catholics & Serbia still went to war for a piece of their land also! Then in Kosova, the excuse there was that Serbia was fighting Albanian Muslim terrorists. I am a roman catholic albanian from Kosova! Ive lived in the U.S since I was 4 monthes old. The first time I went to Kosova was when I was 9, I've been going back every year or two, I usually stay 6 monthes at a time. I carry a gold neckless with a large golden crucifix around my neck exposed 24/7. I've been to every city large & small, there isn't a remote village in Kosova that i haven't been to, I will tell you Serbs this, never not once has a Albanian of the Islamic background, looked at me or say something in any way, were I felt offended or uncomfortable! Never! and I've been at public places, where I was surrounded by 100s of these great people that i didnt even know! For a reason I quite can't understand, Serbia seems to think that everyone in the region is the enemy & the Serbs are the victims? How can every other country be wrong & Serbia be right? Serbs have Serbia, is that not enough? Why create all this turmoil?

If this is correct, then RS and the Croats of Bosnia (Herceg-Bosna) inevitably splitting from the Bosniaks is the biggest favor we could ever be doing them because joining the EU is cancer for Balkan countries. Go ask Greece, Romania and Bulgaria corruption is just as rampant there as ever and people and throwing themselves off buildings because they cannot stand their problems in the EU.
