This piece of garbage should be locked away for the rest of his life. This was not an accident. This was murder. When you drink and then want to drive and if you happen to kill someone, you should be charged with murder, for you did not get drunk accidently.
Perhaps if more people knew they would go away for a long time for drink driving they would get a designated driver if they wish to drink.
Here is Australia we have a huge problem with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The laws are very weak and people get many chances before any hint of prison. Even when someone gets killed by a drunk driver they do not stay in prison too long before they get parole.
The systems is just as sick over in Serbia. Human life does not mean much.

There's no need for new laws, just an interior minister who is willing and able to make sure the police enforce the existing ones.

Actually, Ivica as a PM and also as an IM should resign immediately for not enforcing current laws. RIP to innocent children.

RIP to the victims and I'm glad I never boozed for two reasons;I don't want to inflict death or serious injury to an innocent person(s) and I don't want end up being sick to my stomach all because the truth is I'm a nervous "wreck" if or when I feel nauseated.

The police are not the ones that sit behind the wheel of a car, when they are blind drunk, individuals are. There is a very cavalier attitude throughout the Balkans when it comes to drinking and driving. It is part of that primitive Balkan machismo that men are invincible. For one thing, there need to be much stricter laws for those caught driving intoxicated - jail time of at least a year, a hefty fine, and suspension of drivers license for at least 5 years. On a subsequent offense, 5 years jail, and permanent revocation of the license. In this case, where two small innocent children are murdered, this is to be treated like any other murder in the second degree. This guy should be quite old when he sees freedom again.
