DS cant wash their hands because there is no soap that will wash all dirt that they have,on the other hand Dinkic is not my favorite character and I am against him in this new government but this is what we got for now and let as see what he is capable to do with this black hole that is left after DS !!

And SPS is not guilty? They were involved in criminal deals, selling State companies to political friends. They supported Tadic all those years and now they are the good guys? Different coalition, same s***. Guess why SPS wanted URS in the coalition so bad. They want immunity from crimes committed, SPS and URS are criminals, back in power in another coalition. They blame it all on DS and we eat out of their hand. Serbia deserves better.

Bganon,

'junk status' is defined as BB+ and lower.

Serbia was already in 'junk' status before it got lowered. It's now one level deeper into junk status

Instead of being honest with people and telling them that Serbia's credit rating was degraded because of bad fiscal management he should have kept silent and all the problems would have magically disapear. Let's just hope that the days of ostriches putting their heads in the sand and hoping no one sees the problems are over.

This - 'On Tuesday, Dinkić said that Serbia had experienced a drop in credit rating completely justifiably'.

Well done Dinkic, perhaps you can go to the credit ratings agencies in person to try to persuade them to drop Serbia's credit rating to junk status!

Of course the previous government has to take responsibility (as well as G17 which either created or supported those policies) but you are supposed to argue Serbia's case, or at least remain silent rather than backing ratings agencies, IMF or other international organisations to the detriment of the country...

It is amazing to see how stupid politicians think people are. This DS party in Serbia seems to have fallen to an all time low when it seems to blame the new government which has been in power for only 10 days for the country's rating downgrade. In a statement DS officials stated ".. that the drop of the loan rating is the consequence of irresponsible and unfounded statements by officials that the country is facing bankruptcy. ". This has got to be the dumbest statement made. Just based on this one can then say that Greece's economic downgrade had nothing to do with the fact that it could not pay back it's debts or had a huge deficit but was result of some guy's statement. Or that fact that some banks in Germany were downgraded had nothing to do with their heavy exposure to Greece but was the result of some statement of the bank president. With statements like this one has to be grateful that the Serbian people had the wisdom to vote the previous government out of office.
