Wait, according to the internet KLA on this forum the 'alternative roads' were closed down months ago...awkward

Face it, the only way to get Northern Kosovo under occupation with the rest of the province you would have to massacre 40,000 Serbs.

The West simply wont risk it, and the Albanians are physically incapable of doing so.

Are you kidding me? Why are Eulex and KFOR trying to help Pristina by establishing Albanian customs at the administrative line with Southern Serbia, and trying to collect customs fees for Pristina? That is not their job. That would be the first issue I would push into the faces of the internationals. They (Eulex and KFOR) are to be status neutral. They are not there to be Pristina enforcement teams This is really dirty politics on the side of the EU/US. They are literally trying to force the Serbs in North KiM to live under Pristina's rule. It will not happen.

Exactley! No ground troops because NATO was afraid. What is happening to NATO in Afghanistan would be 100 times worse if ground troops were sent to Serbia. Besides Afghanistan has no infrastructure so there is nothing to bomb. You are comparing apples and oranges.
A question for you. How come NATO did the fighting for you? Where were all brave and skilled albanian fighters? Hiding in the woods?

Tit, Serbia was bombed around the clock by a force 35,000 feet in the air. Afghanistan is a ground war. Believe me, if it was a ground war in the former Yugoslavia, it may still be going on. It has nothing to do with Serb bravery. But since we are on that subject, how long do you think Pristina, and the Albanian villages around it would have lasted, had the NATO not intervened? How do you think the sunni Albanian bravery would have held out, or would the KLA have dressed like women, and high tailed it into Albania? Even you national hero, Adem Jashari, would shoot at innocent civilians, and then go run and hide behind his own children and women. So do not talk to me about bravery, Albanans have a history of hiding behind the Ottomas, German Nazi's, and now NATO. You never fought one fight on your own. And I will be waiting for December, and nothing will change. Get out of North KiM, and stay out. You cannot even feed the mouths you have in the South KiM.

Serbia gave up when UK & USA were taking in serious consideration and sending troops in FYROM, Greece and Albania for a ground offensive.

As a NATO solder I do not understand your question!!! NATO was ready to Enter Serbia but Milosevic signed the agreement to pull out of Kosovo. If he did not sign there would have been a attack From Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Rumania, Bulgaria and Hungary. I was with the ground force who entered Kosovo and know of the plan first hand.

And you underestimate The Kosovo Force who was very lightly armed and did a lot of damage with very little training.

So MikeC I do not understand your question. Do you know that Serbia has no Army to Fight NATO, however I do agree that Serbia has a lot of infrastructure and a population who would not be able to withstand like Afghanistan.

Serbs have this grand ideas that they have big strong army but they are no match for even their neighboor Croatia, Hungary, Rumania or Bulgary. Serbia Much stronger than Kosovo or Macedonia but they are just developing for first time.

Wahahaha... stories for kids. Every partially informed person know that NATO is willing to enter only safe fights. For instance during 1999 bombing of Serbia NATO gave air force back up to Albanian terrorist organisation KLA.
Same story in Libya, where NATO was helping "freedom" fighters (read oil mercenaries) etc..

KLA was just a bait for the Serb army to move in and commit mass killings which they did and that triggered a NATO intervention. Rugova may he rest in peace kept repeating itself a million times to the world that Kosovars have no protection in the event of an open conflict. He appealed to NATO to intervene to save his people from a total annihilation, and he specifically had asked then the Albanian prime minister Fatos Nano not to interfere in Kosovar affairs. If you recall NANO then the Albanian prime minister was calling for NATO troops to be station on Albanian soil to guard Albania as the country itself was in total collapse.

Sadly to this day Kosovars have no protection of their own and totally dependent on NATO troops. There is no doubt in my mind that if it wasnt for the NATO troops Serb army would make to the Morina crossign in less than four hours. With Thaqi at helm I fear that Serbs may not have to fire a single shot he may just hand Kosovo over the same way once Rrahman Morina did to Milosevic.

Assuming this is true, this is smuggling in violation of UNMIK regulations about customs taxes in Kosovo. But I don't believe this is true unless those truck drivers are Albanians because Serbs are strong supporters of 1244 and don't violate it.

Anyway, no big deal since the large majority of trucks are law-abiding and respect Resolution 1244 and UNMIK regulations by paying the customs duties.

Yes and if there was one big mistake he made that was it,he should have forced those Nato gangsters to fight like men on the ground,i don't think they would have had the stomach for that fight,but he did pull out and i believe some of the Serbian military leadership were angry about that,the rest is history.
