B92 likes to forget that Za Dom Spremni originated in the late 1800's in Croatia, from Wikipedia "Za dom spremni! is a Croatian salute that is literally translated "For homeland - ready!". The term did not originate as an Ustaše slogan. It dates back to the 19th century when it was used as a salute to Josip Jelačić, ban of Croatia"

Like I said before, this loser relies mostly on an idiot fanbase in North America and Australia who all dream of a Croatia that never existed. You're raising your kids to be dumb white redneck racists in the United States. Just like the best the NDH had to offer. Someone should take your children from you and charge you with child abuse. What self respecting Croat would support a movement that gave Dalmatia to Italy out of desperate need for fascist backing from Italy, had little to no support among ordinary Croats, drove thousands of Croats due to its brutality and inability at governing to join the Partisans, and are seen as nothing more than degenerate Nazi collaborators that were despised by both Hitler and Mussolini? I mean what exactly can you find redeemable about the worst and most inept collaborationst government in Europe, or do you get your information from HDZ 1990 and Party of Rights news portals? Both are mercifully in the trashbin of history along with the NDH. If you truly are a Croatian patriot, you're the dumbest one out there. Take your pseudo patriotism for a country you've never been to and almost no knowledge of and shove it up your inverted shahovnica.

You have no problem with Mladic and Karadzic but condemn that here??? Haha, nice try, my dear fake Albanian...
(Berk., 7 August 2012 11:33)

Quit trolling dude. Mladic and Karadzic did nothing to us. They are irrelevant, that is why I am largely indifferent to them. Dont get me wrong, they did nasty things but they are used here as a scapegoat to continually beat the Serbs with even though the Mladic and Karadzic did nothing to us. Yes they should be condemned for their crimes and account for their actions in a court of law (as should Haradinaj). Bosnia in any way was just another theater in the war. It is the equivalent of Chinese getting worked up about the Nazis.

I seriously dont get you at all. So your definition of a 'real' Albanian is to spend every minute of my every waking hour, hating and obsessing about Serbs just enough to appear on a Serbian website to vent that hate. Is there irony in here or what. How old are you? Seriously, you need to ease up on the stress and get out more.

Back to Bosnia, I couldn't give a rats what happens there. If the Serbs and Croats go it alone then good luck to them. Likewise to Albanians in Macedonia. However in relation to Kosovo, there should be a mutual final agreement acceptable to all sides. If it takes partition then so be it but the mutual hate, bitterness and bickering in here must stop. For God's sake people its time to move on and grow up.

Well, i don't know why Serbs go to Croatia to go on vacation, you will see many Croats in Belgrade and they are treated good. Go to Zagreb and see what happens. I was in Budva last year and I rented a car to go see a friend in Dubrovnik where my car tire blew out. Long story short, 5 Croats came up to see what was wrong with my car and after speaking with them, the conversation became heated as they brought up past events and started to use racial slurs.

Croats are 10 times more nationalistic than serbs, but many serb's dont seem to think so.

Marcus

1) "For Homeland Ready" was a battle cry started in the wars against the Ottoman Empire. Educate yourselves, who is really a bigger threat: a few thousand drunk Croats yelling this, or Radical Islam? Which leads me to my next point...

2) Every few months when there is a commemoration there is media hype about what happened in the wars. And then the next day it's back to doing business with each other. =D Balkane moj!

The Croatian police in the coastal Šibenik-Knin Directorate said that the five were brought in "for wearing insignia or other markings that call for ethnic, racial or religious hatred, or any form of intolerance".

In Serbia they elect them for president of the Republic. And yet again cry how unjust are otehrs to them...

Let's look at this from a different angle. Life is short, and for all of us it ends in death. So no matter what your belief, ethnicity, or culture, when you are on your deathbed, facing Judgement Day, will you really be proud of your nationalism? Is it really that important? And is there some residual hatred of another group at the heart of it?
(Jan Hus, 7 August 2012 02:41)

Do you think you're the first person to ask this?

The only thing which will cure Balkanism is apathy. But, living in the Balkans and surrounding yourself with Balkanites is the biggest antidote to apathy (unless you surround yourself only with LDP and DS voters, which would be difficult even in Belgrade), so suggesting it is kind of redundant.

From the perspective of a member of the diaspora, I laugh with great rupture as to how much these people actually care about this completely pointless and cynical garbage. I'll stick to my libertarian materialism and the pursuit of my own personal goals, thanks. But, keep going, guys! You're only making your impression to the outside world better each and every day that passes.

Oh Bam Bam before you cry through your keyboard at how those stupid little chetniks across the Drina are just as bad as your beloved Thompson, try thinking a little. Baja Mala Knindza can never hope to get 70,000 people to any concert of his. Serbs have a little better taste in music than you Croatian skinheads and neo-Ustasha trash. Secondly, Baja Mala Knindza could never get government officials coming to his concerts on any national holiday celebrating ethnic cleansing and racism. He'd never even hold a concert and if he did, wouldn't be able to get anywhere near Beogradska Arena or Sava Centar. He's a peripheral figure that no one I know will listen to. Thompson on the other hand is Croatia's most successful musician, which says a lot about Croatia's music scene. Actually, let me rephrase that: Thompson is Croatia's most successful musicians. It's one thing to get angry at a people that tries to rehabilitate one Chetnik leader who never got his hands bloody and was regarded by the Western allies as a war hero. It's something else to consider a known skinhead who openly glorifies the NDH and Operation Storm as one of your country's national treasures. The only uneducated peasant around here are people like you who have no knowledge of things. So enjoy your stupid little fascist feel-good party. It's the last you'll be able to have before you get into the EU. It's interesting how Croatian officials wanted to be nowhere near this loser this year.

Good grief. You will all kill each other again. And again. And again. That is the sad fate for everyone in the Balkans, unless you get out. There will never be peace because the past must be dug up and re-used. Hate with no imagination. Each generation has been poisoned by this hate, and it appears that this will continue to be the case.

Will there be outcry for my words? Of course. You ARE able to band together when an outsider pipes up and points out the obvious...until the thrill passes. Then it's back to the old ways.

Apart from all the usual crackpot comments here, I wonder what ordinary Croats feel about how this kind of manifestation damages their image worldwide. If I were the man in the street in Croatia I'd feel ashamed. You get tattooed drunken skinheads in Germany celebrating Hitler, but what's disturbing here is the residual sympathy for the Ustasha in size able segments of Croat society. I mean 70.000 spectators is a lot. Sometimes you have officials attending. That's what is truly worrying. The Ustashe were a vile evil sect straight from hell. And here they are being celebrated. There is a parallel to be drawn here. The Croatian official position these days is that the war crimes against Serbs were committed after Oluja and not during it.

This year Josipovic made a conciliatory speech about how Croatia had made mistakes, that this wasn't a celebration against Serbs etc etc etc. Despite his position, all the time he knew that following his departure Thompson and assorted ustasa would turn up.

One can pose the question, just because the political bigwigs have pulled out of the area does that make them less culpable for what follows? Isn't it true that the bigwigs know what will happen once their back is turned and yet do nothing?

There is no difference between this singer and the Croatian state. Both follow a Ustasha Nazi ideology. Serbia should have absolutely no relations with Croatia whatsoever. If Serbs want to visit the Croatian coastline they shouldn't be able to go through Serbia making their trip more expensive.

And for the hell of it, I would fund the independence movements in Istra and Dalmacija...better to spend it there than giving NGO's grants to open up abortion clinics throughout the country.

But yeah, the Croatian state as a whole is institutionally a genocidal entity built on death and racism.

Serbia owes it to the Victims of Croatian Nazism to pursue the Genocide case against Croatia.

The simple rule for Serbia of not being deceived and remaining with a certain level of intelligence that is needed to win against Serbia’s Evil Enemies is to, in many cases to do the opposite of what Serbia’s enemies want Serbia to do.

Tadic and Company discovered the truth of what these things are, because they were and remain their willing Puppet, and these things are Public Knowledge.

Serbia should not be concerned in the slightest with being demonised, because at this stage, it does not matter, and a Genocide Case against Croatia, Albanian, Germany, Lithuania, and America will protect Serbia while these cases are being examined.

Germany, Lithuania, and America can avoid being Charged with Physical, Cultural, and Economic Genocide against the Serbian People, with the SAA Agreement being implemented, and with America telling the Albanians that Kosovo is to be Fully Reintegrated into Serbia, with Albanians having autonomy in their area, and Non-Albanians being Governed by Belgrade.

America has an Election coming up, and so an announcement for a Timetable to withdraw from Kosovo is the wise thing to do, because a timely short Election Documentary can be made by the Republicans, and so do not waste time, if you wish to be Wise.

Germany, Lithuania, and other European Countries, will have their Elections soon enough, and if they seek Wisdom, then they will be Wise.

So no matter what your belief, ethnicity, or culture, when you are on your deathbed, facing Judgement Day, will you really be proud of your nationalism? Is it really that important? And is there some residual hatred of another group at the heart of it?

Well, i don't know why Serbs go to Croatia to go on vacation, you will see many Croats in Belgrade and they are treated good. Go to Zagreb and see what happens. I was in Budva last year and I rented a car to go see a friend in Dubrovnik where my car tire blew out. Long story short, 5 Croats came up to see what was wrong with my car and after speaking with them, the conversation became heated as they brought up past events and started to use racial slurs.

Croats are 10 times more nationalistic than serbs, but many serb's dont seem to think so.

Please do not mention the Ustase or Thompson or any other Croat singer when the Serbian Cetnik movemnet continue to support 'Baja Mala Knindza'. Anybody who listens to this mans lyrics is appalled and please don't tell me that the people who watch this guy in concert don't wear Chetnik hats. It's disgraceful to here young Serbs at his concert yelling "Noc Zica Srebrenica or Ne volim Te Alija". Serbia continues to move to the right more and more each day. A country that 'tries' to rehabilitate the convicted war criminal Draza Mihajolovic has surely got major problems. Give it up !

So celebrate your Nazi holidays. Deep down you know it was only possible through American and German private contractors and before Germany came to help its loyal Nazi ally, we were beating you senselessly.

A full sentence in caps lock only shows your feebleness and desperation to get my attention. I hereby give you it, you are welcome.

No I did not fight but what is a reality is not one of Serbia's weaker but hostile neighbors can hold a candle to our strength without outside interference. So I mean ok Croats had it and for the sake of peace Serbia will probably never go to war over occupied Republika Srpska Krajina again but out of typical Serbian 'Inat' (spite) Serbia should do everything in its power to make the lives of the genocidal Nazi state institution much harder to work as well as the citizens that uphold its existence.

But you Albanians are much different. We cannot and will not for the sake of peace let Kosovo i Metohija go. The peace is only enforced by temporary Western presence. I don't know when they will leave (trends point to sooner than later) but whenever they do the frozen conflict is reignited and there will be future conflicts.

Take your pseudo patriotism for a country you've never been to and almost no knowledge of and shove it up your inverted shahovnica.

bganon

pre 11 godina

Quit trolling dude. Mladic and Karadzic did nothing to us. They are irrelevant, that is why I am largely indifferent to them. Dont get me wrong, they did nasty things but they are used here as a scapegoat to continually beat the Serbs with even though the Mladic and Karadzic did nothing to us. Yes they should be condemned for their crimes and account for their actions in a court of law (as should Haradinaj). Bosnia in any way was just another theater in the war. It is the equivalent of Chinese getting worked up about the Nazis.
