Serbian dinar drops slightly against euro

The dinar dropped by 0.1 percent on Friday and the middle exchange rate against the euro is RSD 118.3681 for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia has stated.

It has been my opinion since last year, that the fair value of the dinar is in the 135 - 150 to euro range. It is lowly creeping to be just that. Serbia has no reserves, is heavily in debt, and running a deficit budget. I cannot see anyone lining up to buy its bonds. We shall see, but I see nothing but gloom for the near term. This be an extremely tough burden on the average family that is holding a euro based loan.
