Dinkic and his g17plus has contributed to this bad situation. Perhaps more so than the others. DS has contributed its fair share to this bad situation too. SPS as well. And SNS is more capitalistic than DS, supposedly, so perhaps they will make things even worse.

@Zlatan, the problems here are not so much because of SPS. They have some blame, for suppporting/dealing with the previous government. But, in general a country can run fine if the central bank is not independent. Libya had a central bank that was not independent. That worked well, so well that the west's first goal in their colonization of libya became the establishment of a new bank. You see, when banks are so called "independent" it's just a smoke screen for foreign occupiers to buy off our banks for little money, and hence we are owned by others. That is not independence. It's colonization, so no, we do not want to be colonies, even though you yourself seem to like/want that. Look beyond the propaganda man.

SPS will ruin the Serbian economy. And with the new law, that curbs the independence of central bank, no country will invest in Serbia anymore. Why did we vote for SPS and why did SNS agree to a coalition with these incompetent fools. They fucked it up in the DS coalition and SNS will regret working together with these guys.

Wasn't he a finance minister before?

Guess he built the groundwork for this deficit.

I guess they're changing the central bank law so that they can seize the reserves to cover their deficit.
