Arrival instead Jelasic who refused to buckle under pressure from politicians, the testimony of his former political suitability!
The alleged concern in the EU, is just a bad attempt to leave it on!

If the EU was in fact concerned, and would react "officially and strongly", they wouldn't send the message through an anonymous tipster from the European Commission. To my knowledge, the EU has never been shy about interfering amd sending scorn and condemnation. Quite to the contrary, they press their suits and comb their hair when they meddle and attack the internal matters of the Serbian state. To pretend otherwise is ridiculous.

"The EU sees this as an attempt to establish direct political control over the NBS, which is contrary to EU's fundamental charters and laws."
It looks in the new Serbia, the 'direct political control' over every institution will be established.

Anyone want to take a guess on what such a change would do to the exchange rate?
