what "Willi Pfaff" our german-albanian didn´t say:

India was occupied by the British, they liberated their land from foreign occupation after a long struggle, yes.

Kosovo i Metohija is serbian land, temporarily under foreign control, but what is important: it is still serbian territory, because the legal status is frozen, there where it counts! ( UNSC and other international organisations based on international law )

a unilateral declaration of "independence" is something like a fart in the wind... it doesn´n really have much of a meaning. and it will have even less meaning when Serbia´s time has come to liberate what is historically, morally and legally serbian.

but coming back to Willi´s childish comparison: India was and still is indian terriotry, while Kosovo is occupied right now, after the illegal invasion of foreign troops on serbian territory. actually, India is a nice example of what is going to be the future of southern Serbia.

so, if you try to be smart, think it over to the end, before you make a fool of yourself...

============================

The biggest bully on the planet today is the US and everyone knows it.
Do you see Russia invading countries? How many wars has the US begun for the benefit of 1%?
How many people have died because of US?
Don't talk about bullies when your rely on one to keep what was ill gotten.

reader, you ar partially correct. in your assesments. yes it was a failure, but it wasn't the same type of role as is currently being discussed. atashiri provided a self crafted solution instead of mediating dialog. both parties should form the solution that they've agreed upon through compromise instead of some third party arbitrator dictating a solution.
if you want democratic nature then dialog is needed. if you want dictatorship then dictations are needed.
(writer, 2 August 2012 19:32)

Sounds nice in theory. Doesn't happen in most cases. Serbia vs. Turkey. US vs. England, Greece vs. Turkey, Finland vs. Russia etc. Most borders and independence movements have been imposed onto the other side. Imposition of independence movement is the ordinary. It is the exception to mutually agree on such movement not the ordinary. As such a mutual agreement in most cases is not possible. Instead one side learns to live with it, for example Turkey, England, Russia etc. Serbia will learn to live with it as well. You're just so illogically worried about saving face at the moment.

There was UN participation in the previous talks. Remember the Ahtisaari plan? According to the Serbian commentators, I quote: "It has miserably failed". So what is the point in miserably failing again? Funny bunch of people, send UN envoy, make him "fail miserably", then say let's send a UN envoy. Since we're quoting, a smart person once said "Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results."

This is what I’m saying.

It will be the same answer as above with some additional information.
Well, the UN if you like it or not (and you are like a grit on a beach), is for every COUNTRY in the world. No one is bigger or better or have more saying. (Except the big 5 in the UNSC. Thats why Kosovo will always be a Serbian province because of China and Russia.)
As for the western Europe even if many has recognized Kosovo (to have peace and to send back refugees, not by friendship), ask people in Germany, Denmark, France, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Finland etc what they think about K Albanians occupying their prisons !

God, what stupid comments !!
"Let me correct this. The USA have paid for everything. The UN is only able to exist financially because the US funds the lion share. So yes, thank you USA for helping us before, during and after the war."

No J, US have NOT paid for everything. Actually, US is one of the ones that do not pay their share to the UN due to lack of money.
Make no mistake, I really love the US and have been all over the US about 40 times in my career/life. What I dislike was the intervention in Kosovo because that was a huge gaffe and this is today confirmed by hundreds of US military commanders, police officers, diplomats and last but not least, intelligence officers from US that I meet and talk to. No one is talking about any success. Absolutely no doubt !

The UN umbrella is the best for us and it’s definitely the worst choice for the kelmending tribe. The reason is simple as EU is one of the main plots of the golden billion while the outside world mostly sympathizes Russia. But because our side is interested the truth to come out while USA , Qathar , Saudittes , Snakes , Germans , and others would prefer their false versions of the events to become legal. So Russia is trying to attract the rest of the world. Then the Albanian blackmail called negotiations will at least become open.

I don't know if there is an UN resolution on Georgia or Chechnya. But I know there's one on Kosovo, called UNSC1244, which states that Kosovo is under UN administration. So, it would make some sense to have UN representatives of Kosovo on board during the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue.

Kosova has been independent since 2008, and is in negotiations with Serbia for the sole reason of preparing & structuring it's independent country for application towards EU candidacy! If Serbia, chooses to isolate herself because of her nationalist views that is her problem, she should not be allowed to keep the region hostage.. EU policy should not be allowed to be blackmailed by tiny Serbia! And Russia, should keep its nose out of European affairs... EU policy for Kosova should, enter a new stage of supplying modern weaponry & the training of the KSF in heavy weaponry, Kosova has more then enough manpower to defend herself! During the 1990s the population of Kosova lacked the military equipment & that is why Serbia did what it did, had the battle ground been evenly equipped, and as a matter of fact had the population of Kosova had only 30% of the equipment Serbia had, it is a guarantee that Serbia would have never embarked on that military endeavor!

That is the problem Russia relies on half truths and total lies in its dealings with Kosovo, I doubt that anyone other than Serbia will agree to Russian involvement.
US involvement is on the sidelines advising Kosovo, Russia's place would have to be limted to the same. Which is what they do now.
The talks are directly related to Serbia's further joining of the EU and it is highly doubtful the EU is going to change its stance and turn the talks over to the UN.

Well, the UN if you like it or not (and you are like a grit on a beach), is for every COUNTRY in the world. No one is bigger or better or have more saying. (Except the big 5 in the UNSC. Thats why Kosovo will always be a Serbian province because of China and Russia.)

what "Willi Pfaff" our german-albanian didn´t say:

Russia, should ask for UN participation on the issue it has with, Chechnya, Georgia, etc!!! In Kosova, there is no outstanding political issues, only technical ones which are related to rule of law!!!

What unilateral decision. Both Serbia and Kosovo mutually agreed to the terms of talks between them with EU oversight. Serbia has not been under any pressure other than their voluntarily wanting to join the EU to do anything.

A New Day:

"Serbia has not been under any pressure other than their voluntarily wanting to join the EU to do anything."

What world do you come from? Your hatred for Serbs has made you dilusional. Did you write your comment to please yourself and your Albanian trolls, or do you just want to demonstrate your ignorance? Serbia is under enormous pressure from the Evil Empire to relinguish Kosovo, and it's definitely not because the Empire is sympathetic to the most backward peoples in Europe. Their agenda is to exhurt influence and dominate that region of Europe in order to curb Russian expansion, and mainly, Europe's reliance on Russia's energy. So you see, it has nothing to do with you (Albanians), so stop tooting your own horn. I concede that we had sellouts as our leaders who tried to pawn the notion of membership in a bankrupt EU, but they're history now. It's just a question of time and strategy. The EU is finished and Toma knows this. He is just playing along with the EU bandwagon for EU consumption, because as he's always mentioned on many occassions, he will not sacrifice Kosovo for the EU.

Albanian lack in BOTH areas and have for most of their history. Meanwhile Serbia has been pumping out world glass athletes and intellectuals for hundreds of years now. Just look at how many athletes Serbia has in the Olympics, how many scientists are working on the "God" partical etc... Also if i'm not mistaken a Serbian citizen just won a world mathematics tournament. I mean, the list goes on and on. Albanians just dont have what it takes. You are good at taking orders however and converting to the religion of your "masters".

Sotir

Russia would like to see the UN involved?! Are they joking?! After the debacle with Syria, they have lost all credibility as honest brokers(if it ever had any). Also, the claim to Serbia respecting international law is fair - but the Russian ambassador must also be aware of a little ruling by the International Court of Justice in favour of the UDI. Stop the pipe dreams and get real.

The kalbs have had it all their own way for too long. It's time for real talks, and not just with the Us and germans advising the Kalbs. Albanian expansionism is the clear and present danger in the Balkans and needs to be nipped in the bud, now. Kosovo is the best place to start.
