SNS leader announces top-down combat against corruption

Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) acting leader Aleksandar Vučić has said that the combat against corruption and crime will start at the top of the government.

"Vučić denied that the SNS had brought back some people from the era of Slobodan Milošević and the Yugoslav Left (JUL), stressing that it was something the previous government had done."

Tricky! With giving away the leading PM position to SPS, the SNS can refuse any responsibility. So it's just the opposite: The people from the era of Milosevic brought SNS into power. Funnily, the result is the same :)

gf, you are correct. Very humorous how all the previous Milosevic adherents, today try and distance themselves from their previous leader as much as possible. It may just be me being pessimistic but, I do not think that a zebra can change its stripes. We shall wait, hope, and see how the latest promises, from the latest ruling coalition, will manifest.

Or something their current coalition partners, the SPS, did while they were in the previous government, to be more accurate.
