"Are you playing dump just like icj1, or are you icj1? UDI doesn't make Kosovo a state. UDI is just a declaration."

for what it's worth, it was not UDI. That is a term somebody in Serbian media or government or wherever invented. It was not Unilateral, it was coordinated with many countries, it was multilateral, including the UN itself represented by Russian-approved, Chinese-approved, Nobel Peace prize awarded, Ahtisaari, who actually suggested it. Because it was multilateral, recognitions poured in immediately, unlike say South Ossetia. Serbian government did not agree, but really, what can one expect with "over my dead body" type of politics? True, Jeremic said that, and that was much later than February 17 2008, but Kostunica at the time was acting "over my dead body and your burned embassies" so that's pretty much the same.
Can you really tell me what international law has been broken so far? Can you point to the law number, date of approval etc etc? Can you point me to some serious international court that said "yes, international law was broken by such and such event or series of events". 1244 was gutted inside out, to arrive to the conclusion that no, it was not broken. Go read all the arguments and interpretations at the ICJ. Serbia's is 300 pages or more. Kosovo's is less. Slovenia's was incredible. Great Britain's was hilarious. Have you read them, they are online for everybody to see. 30 countries participated, conclusion: nothing was broken, because there is nothing to break.
Or maybe Kumanovo agreements? Any treaties Serbia signed with any other country? It really falls on you to show that. Hopefully, the new FM of Serbia will go back to ICJ and ask "Admitting that Kosovo is a state, does Kosovo's existence as a state separated from Serbia violate international law? Otherwise, if Kosovo is not a state, does its existence as whatever it is (dear court the job of defining what it is falls on you) violate international law?". That would be a great question to ask :). ICJ is there wise guy, go and ask.
