Farmers, certain experts and Vojvodina Executive Council have called on the authorities to declare the state of natural disaster due to extreme drought.

Baloney: the drought is due to the jet stream staying up north. The U.S. is currently facing its worst and most extensive drought since 1956. The rain and cool weather is kept and staying up north. Great Britain is having a cool summer and floods, also the Netherlands and Germany are cool and rainy this summer as well.

Can anybody tell me how much an acre or hectare of land suitable for farming costs in Voivodina and how the subsidies from the Serbian government work?I might be interested in life as a gentleman farmer as opposed to academia in my near future.

Voivodina is a very special place with so many ethnic groups living there and I hope more Europeans visit
