Good that he apologises. It would be good if he could behave with the kind of dignity that would avoid the need to apologise in future.

Politicians need a thicker skin and need to be able to take criticism. Defence should be on the basis of reasoned argument - not paranoiac or knee-jerk thinking and response.

I am sure B92 will always be willing to publish any well reasoned argument - it is not just a personal antipathy!

You are right Bob, but there is a belief that those with primitive attitudes have a lack of self control, mitigated in most normal people by use of the brain. These types are apt to lash out physically and verbally. To a certain extent Ilic is easily 'provoked', although this latest stupidity was not.

The equivalent on a football field might be to 'go after' a player with a short temper to try to get him sent off. However, if said player is dumb enough to keep falling into the trap, not only does he deserve to be sent off, but he shouldn't be on the field in the first place.
