You seem not to know Fox News and all the media belonging to the Rupert Murdoch 'empire' :)

Ecoman: There is a difference between a biased media and one that is controlled by the state. Additionally, the thrust of this article is about the judiciary's involvement in this process rather than the media itself. As you may be aware the UK has recently held a long inquiry about the role of the media and whether or not it should be more closely (and independently) regulated. I am not sure that the US media is necessarily 'in bed' with Obama. You only need to look at the negative coverage of the Supreme Court decision about 'Obamacare' to see where they sit on that issue. The UK has had a right wing biased press for many years but still we had 13 years of Labour government. It's almost as if the public willfully do the opposite of what the press are hoping they will do!

The entire Balkans is an un-holy place, where local politics rule, for the benefit of the ruling government parties. But, is this any different that the Western world? US media is totally in bed with Obama, why? Is it because they are financed by the liberal government, or is it because it is seen as more aware to be liberal? God knows, but in either case, the media is always biased, and getting the truth is close to impossible, wherever you live.

"It seems to me like a sentence for a petty theft. The message is simply unbelievable because it is clear that they are violent and potentially dangerous people that even police back off in front of them. "

I wonder what is worse: Attacks on journalists in Kosovo where the perpetrators are, of course, not found by the competent experts of KPS, or verbal death threads in Serbia where the perpetrators are well known, even sent to court, but then released on probation.

“We have a very complex situation and a very strange decision. Also, we still do not know who killed journalists in Serbia, although there is a realistic suspicion that it was the state,” Janjić pointed out.

Serbia in the footsteps of the big idol Russia, eh? :)
