Kosovo: Timber thief arrested for shooting at police

Bad luck!
He should have crossed administrative line into Serbia, steal some Serb's forest and shoot at Serbian police. Even if arrested there would be outcry to let him go and free him from Serbian oppression.

@fredericton: to clear it up, I was not accusing you of that often used, and actually worn out albanian propaganda-technique, I just wanted to see it clarified what you mean with " it sucks".

if you were better informed, you would know that all the troubles with the K-albanians started with exactly this kind of behaviour, when they slowly became the local majority in southern Serbia. first they only threw stones on serb women, then they started harrassing them, then they started killing cattle belonging to serbian families , then there came a time when serb women couldn´t leave their home without a male escorting them or at least carrying a gun.
so, for the Serbs, this is nothing new and certainly nothing that could be a surprise at all.

but that´s something your albanian pizza-guy has not told you, I guess.

the bottom-line is: it is, unfortunately, a behavioural pattern very known to those who have had the experience to live next to Albanians. you and the other K-albanians in here will more or less deny this, but that´s pointless, since even US-american papers have reported about albanian repression against Serbs in southern Serbia.

Serb propaganda?? Jovan what are you talking about?? When did I ever inquire or indicate if this news article pertained to Serbian propaganda? What I meant by saying "this sucks" is that it sucks that this ethnic Albanian individual did stuff that got him in trouble,also,what I mean by this sucks is that what if his actions results in some non-Albanians to assume the worst of anyone who is Albanian.

God, he's only a thief. Well, better say an armed robber, probably a member of one of the local clan. When he felt observed, he was shooting. Nothing unusual for criminals. There are worse things done in Kosovo, killing people, stoning cars and buses, ...
